Excellent – Only ever owned a few phillips products , they all work great. This one does its job, works well for what I need and is consistent. Charge time is fast. If you dont use it much, it will discharge when not in use, yet can be recharged up fast. Best to use it till its spent the power, always better to recharge from flat. Never had any issues… Read more · 1
with it, there are so many on the market, even ones that have vacuum attachments. I left the sales hype of all the other to get something easy enough to use.
My advice on face/beard trimmers, just dont faff it up with all the ones that have over the top added extras
The job and purpose is simple , keep it simple.
My one has had no charge time, battery issues and as long as you oil the cutter after cleaning, all is good
buy this type or what replaces it with confidence.
Not staying charged – At first this item worked well, but JUST OUT OF WARRANTY and only used approx10 times, it is no longer staying charged, even when attached to power. Disappointing. Won't buy again.
Ok for the first 12 months – Bought this for my husband for Xmas in 2016, had been pretty happy with it, now it’s gone out of warranty so the turbo function doesn’t appear to work as well. Looses charge very quickly so has resulted in leaving the device plugged in to keep the power & charge to complete his trimming of the stubble on his face

I wouldn't buy it again – I bought this Philips Multigroom and after a week I had to ask for a replacement cause (I think) the battery had some issues (even after 8/10 hours recharging I wouldn't be able to complete my shaving cause it was jamming and stopping work). Got a new one and SAME! Don't know if it's a power/engine/battery issues what I see it's a product that would be great as characteristics but doesn't really work!

Ok For The First 6 Months – It seems as though every 12 months I go through another beard trimmer. Maybe looking at options under A$100 is the problem? The Philips Multigroom QC3360 works great as a medium to long hair trimmer for my reasonably thick beard. It comes with a whole range of cutting attachments (ear, nose, sideburns, etc.) as well as a great adjustable… Read more
cutting guide.
One of the guides is quite flimsy and one can easily make the mistake of pushing too hard and exposing too much of the cutting head (not good for that "2 day old stubble" look). The other of the cutting guides is brilliant with millimetre adjustment for the perfect cut.
The downside of this particular model seems to be with a loose cutting head. I took my unit back to the shop where I purchased it and was told that this was normal. It seems as though the internal mechanism of the trimmer that joins the different cutting heads develops a vibration, and therefore a loud noise after some time. This can only be circumvented by holding the cutting head directly so as to stop it vibrating and making a weird noise.
Battery life is reasonable, not hugely impressive, but enough to get the job done.
With constant lubrication, this device seems to go pretty well. The noise and vibration is starting to get to me though, so I think it's time for an upgrade.

Great product – I have had this trimer for about 10 years and I love it. I don't use the attachments except for nose trim and basic beard / hair trimmer but it exceptional. It is cordless which is handy and the battery lasts a week or more without re-charge. Blades don't wear and no lubrication needed. Mine is starting to get a bit clunky after all these years and will replace it with the same model soon. Great value for money I reckon. Show reply
My Poor Head – The shaver would not shave my head or face to a level that I still didnt need to go over my head with a blade. You need to move so slowly it would take 20 mins to get anywhere near shaved. Would not recommend it.

How can they make it for the price – I bought is after several over units did not live up their claims. This unit is well made, water proof and enough attachments to get the correct finish. Its that good I bought another 1 for when and if this one dies... Its Battery life is great although I don't use it in the shower I rinse it under the tap to clean it. The storage packaging could be a bit better but for the price its fine. Quality Show 6 replies
Really poor quality – I've come to expect decent quality from Philips products, so was enormously disappointed by this one. The plastic attachments broke within days of me purchasing the trimmer and after what was gentle, undemanding use. I managed to get replacements which almost immediately broke also. Within months it stopped charging properly and is now very… Read more
close to unusable.
When working properly, the product worked reasonably well, however the faults are remarkable, especially from such a reputable company. Decent beard trim Plastic attachments appallingly poor quality, Shocking longevity, Overall no value for money at all
I agree, I have the same it's so bad that I stopped using it. Very disaponted.
