I learned not to buy Philips AGAIN !!! – Philips hair trimmer series 500 HC5612 came uncharged so I plugged it in and the solid light came on , instructions say needs 8 hours. So 12 hours later the same solid light is still on so I phoned Philips at 9/30 am 10/7/24 , and asked how do I know my trimmer is charged ? answer direct from Philips YOU DON'T , your product went in the BIN

Powerful, ergonomic, adjustable – My Remington Rapid Cut just died and this model was highly recommended on Amazon. I find it comfortable to hold it by either the front half (like the Remington) or the rear half. is so much neater than having a drawer full of 10+ different attachments! The only downside is that the adjustment wheel turns a bit too easily and I accidentally change the setting when changing my grip on the clippers.

The power is immense and it breezes through my thick hair which the Remington all too often got snagged on. I do wish they made use of this extra power by making the cutting head wider though.

Have had zero problems with hair self-cleaning away as long as I keep the guide flat against my skin as the instructions suggest.

Worst hair clippers ever purchased – Regretful purchase These hair clippers are definitely not comfortable to use, and by the way it’s shaped it’s supposed to help hair flow away from clippers. In my experience it was the opposite, the hair would keep getting stuck in the attachment combs. Also noticed strands of hair left over, had to use the shorter attachment comb to even it out. The awkward shape of the clippers makes it it’s more difficult to cut the back of the neckline.
