well done philips... took a great product and totally ruined it. New model completely useless. Does nothing. Has been nannified so much , it no longer works. What nincompoop designed this? Obviously they never used it. The old model was GREAT. What a dsiappointment when this piece of garbage arrived. Straight in the bin. The microtouch titanium max looks just like the old Philips, so i will get that. This is rubbish and in the bin... DO NOT waste yoiur money on Philips... they've ruined their great previous design.

Purchased at Bing Lee for $30.

This is a poor quality item compared to the one I purchased years ago of the same brand. The old one cut very close to the skin. The latest model has a ridiculous safety guard which allows you to trim the top half of the nose and ear hairs, but the lower half cannot be trimmed. Waste of money and you need to use tweezers to get rid of the unwanted hairs. Very frustrating. Threw it in the bin as I was unable to return for a refund. Just purchased a Panasonic Wet and Dry Nose, Ear and Facial Hair Trimmer, Black/Silver (ER-GN30) and it is a significantly better product. It does exactly what you expect and trims hair off perfectly.

No Hairs were injured during usage – Does not cut hair. I have the previous 2000 model which is getting old but is still working good. I foolishly thought this model would be a good replacement in case the old one died. Sometimes I try using it thinking there is a secret trick that will allow it to cut hair. The De Vinci code clues are too hard to find.

Hi TT, Thank you for taking the time to write this elaborate review. We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused to you.

We want to let you know that Nose trimmers are designed with a guard to prevent the blades from coming into contact with the skin, such as those with cutting elements on both sides. Short hair strands from the security guard are left behind. You can achieve a neat appearance without running the danger of cuts, ingrown hairs, or hair pulling. Insert the trimmer into your nose. To capture hairs developing in various directions, turn the trimming head. Keep the trimming head from going too deep into your nostrils. Insert approximately 5 mm into heads with rotary tips. Insert it around 12 mm deep when trimming heads with a linear tip. To lessen any tickling, you can rotate the trimmer while pressing the flat side against the skin. When trimming your eyebrows, make sure the eyebrow comb is connected to the head of the trimmer. The hair can be trimmed to the desired hair length with the comb. Your Philips nose trimmer can be clogged with dirt and unclean, which would make it difficult to cut. For optimum efficiency, we suggest cleaning your nose trimmer after every use.

We'd like to refer you to our colleagues for more information. You can reach them directly on 1300 363 391 (Australia), or 0800 658 224 (New Zealand) from Monday to Saturdays: 7: 00 am - 7:00 pm EST. They're always happy to help!

Kind regards, The Philips Australia Team
