Good unit at good price – I've had this beard trimmer for over 5 years now and use it every week or so for a quick trim of my moustache and goatee. It just works, not much else to say about performance! The battery holds it's charge for a long time, though I only use it for a minute or two once a week. I paid around $30, so overall, I'm quite satisfied.  Show reply

Unfortunately this really is Landfill as Per Other Review – I wish I did not require be so harsh towards what I used to think was a well known well engineered quality brand "Philips". The battery lasted only just over 2 months, I was not so lucky in that mine does not even work off the mains power cord!? seriously Philips how could you sell such a poor quality product in this day and age. To be honest the… Read more

ergonomics or the previous model I also feel were far superior to this QT4015, it gave a great shave; although I required to replace even that model 3 times within its warranty due to battery failure. Surely a reliable battery is not that hard to source, I would be willing to pay more for it if the ergonomics of the previous model are returned or built on as well. Creating such wasteful products is not good for our planet either. A shame the worsening battery quality and ergonomics are letting down an otherwise great product concept. I have sensitive skin and when it does work the shaver is savior in that regard.

Poor poor battery life – Battery have died in less than a year. Now it lasts for 2-3 min max. Otherwise it is working good from cable, but who wants to shave with a cable. I've wanted to change the battery and opened the shaver but battery is not removable. So it is useless now :(

Decent clipper, terrible battery life, plastic broke off after 2 years – After about 3 months of using this according to it's instructions the battery would die after about two to three uses. I have, until the plastic grading clipper attachment broke this week, just been using it plugged in. I does a decent job of clipping, and it is a relatively cheap price. But just really disappointed a brand like Philips would release something that is basically landfill. Not recommended.

Fantastic value on special 30$ – Basic design, no gimmicks that can go wrong. Works perfectly in gaining that stubble look very happy with this. My previous shaver was the 150$ wahl stainless(which fuzzed out) in which this phillips out performs that in shaving back the beard to a consistant length. Once i did take the clipper head off and tried to get sstray longer hairs… Read more

around the neck area was a bit hard to get but slowly got there. Consistant trim length, easy to hold, cuts clean Take clipper cover off doesnt trim outside areas of the neck to well, or stray hairs up high near eye area

Simplicity wins over complexity – This is my fourth beard trimmer in about 2 years and by far the best for me. A couple I have had in the past have either been too electronically complex and things have gone wrong or just not designed well for a consistent length cut. What I like about this is its simplicity of design. No electronics to fail, tricky smart buttons to press to… Read more

raise or lower blade length, no delicate electronics to fail due to the dampness of the bathroom.

To adjust length just turn a wheel on the trimmer and there you are. I don't have any problems getting a consistent length of beard, even when half asleep.

I also like the robust feel of the machine. For me I can pull it out of the drawer, let it do its job and plonk it back in the cabinet. There is little to go wrong. It is a good machine for travel consistency in cutting lenght, simplicity of design nothing so far

Fantastic beard trimmer – I have tried many beard trimmers and the teeth on the comb are often too close together and catch hairs, so I have resorted to using bulkier hair clippers to to the job. This set, however, is perfect for trimming back to stubble with a comb that is not too wide but with good teeth spacing. It is also light weight and I have only had to charge the… Read more

battery after about 15 trims and it is easy enough to keep clean. The fact that it is cheaper than most is just a bonus. Clean cutting, lightweight, good battery
