My Posh toilet cistern keeps making continuous noise after flushing. It sounds loud and annoying. I've been informed that it may need a new ballcock washer in the cistern but I don't know where that is

We have just had two installed and they dont seem to flush well, or with very little water. Did you experience this?

For my 4.5 litre toilet cistern, the flushing mechanism seems to be of very poor design.
