I use the equipment daily for half an hour but left it alone over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Now it will not run. I press the little button at the front but it still will not start. Please any help?

Hi! I had the same problem until I ran the power through an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator). This prevented power spikes from disrupting the machine. Also, if you run the machine in a hot environment, the Proteus MTM 4500 will cut out after 30 minutes or so to protect the motor from overheating. This is easily remedied as there is a small button at the front of the treadmill which you need to press to re-enabe the motor. Try using the treadmill in an airconditioned environment, that way the treadmill will never cut out! - Ian.
