Bought the 2 for 1 Venus charger. One charging point broke straight away - they did replace but after pointing out it was probably my fault - rude!!! It may be an Australian company but the products are made in the Peoples Republic of China. You cannot walk around with device in phone as the charging points are so brittle. overseas trips. The Venus lacks strength and broke both my Venus’s due to lack of strength Snapped it out! The charging cable while one might think is a smart decision may have been doing the job well but not when connected to universal charging block. My son being an independent reviewer rejects this brand outrightly having experienced in their usage who was my main audience for the product. There’s no way I can convince him to like Venus anymore yet I have given one last chance to Venus to prove it’s durability and reliability in the infinity charger which I bought a few weeks ago being sleek and having the stand. Haven’t used it yet but will review soon after our next outdoor trip! Sorry Venus you failed to impress!!!
Follow-up · For some reason the charging kept dropping when the universal cable (pulse product btw) was plugged into the universal power bank when multiple use was on. In short it can’t handle multi purpose at the same time when we needed it the most while camping in Glenworth valley Sydney. With a slight twist picking up by hand not harsh it took off suggests fragile make.

description while charging. If you charge on a flat surface only or charge while using your phone then maybe ok. Very disappointing. UPDATE all four have now broken in the same place.
Follow-up · The male charging/connector tab broke on two of the charges. The charger was connected to the phone in a rucksack. The connector was then stuck inside the phone. I did not hear back from the company about the second unit breaking. On the first one they offered a replacement at low cost to cover postage. Wish I had not done this as my son just wont use it now as a portable charger.
Terrible faulty product do not buy. We bought a pack of 2 chargers and 4 connectors they all broke off at the tip. When I got the first ones replaced company wrote a condescending email implying it was my fault and now even the replacements have broken. I will be mailing further complaints they are not cheap.
Bought 2 for our overseas trip thinking what a great idea. Both broke within 3 weeks. The metal charging point on both broke. One got stuck inside our brand new Apple phone. The Company tries to suggest it is user fault. 2 phone chargers doing the same thing! What’s the chance of that! It is a design fault. Total waste of money. We have sent ours back to Pulse. Not happy got my pulse charger as a gift ! I keep it in box when not using haven’t even taken off protection covering used twice second time I was on the phone charging as it shows you on the tv add and the tip broke off ! I asked for just a repair but now know tips are not covered seems to be a common problem with these very disappointing
Very disappointing. The reason the charging tips are not covered under manufacturer warranty is because they are prone to fail. I think it's a basic design flaw. I treated mine very carefully but even so the USB C tip pulled out of the charger.you will not get a replacement from the retailer even though you should be covered under consumer law. Had this for 2.5 weeks and connector broke off inside plug when I removed it from charging. No rough handling at all. Removed from plug wth tweezers. Email sent. I purchased a 2 pack, light blue & black. I plugged in my Samsung Galaxy. The connection was wobbly but I persisted. So i put it in my bag, exactly as they do on the TV ad. Well! The whole connection broke off in my phone! Lol So I thought "...must've done the wrong thing, putting it in my bag..." etc. Lesson learnt?! I got the second charger… Read more
out and plugged my phone into it. I put it on the chair next to me, then drove home; when I got there, picked up my stuff normally and went inside.
Well! Lol in the time it took to go in the house the second connector snapped off in my phone too. I am not a rough person, I just carried it all in normally.
In my experience, I found the connectors did not sit in my device properly (I've got a brand new phone, its not my phone that's the issue).
They were wobbly and clunky when my phone was plugged in.
I don't think they are a good product nor very good for a general user.
I found them to be too flimsy and do not recommend this product.

Bought a Venus charger for a trip to the UK. It worked ok for a couple of days, but then if you didn’t have at the exact right angle in the phone it wouldn’t charge. Overall extremely disappointing and not worth the money.

Pulse Venus Charger - don't buy!! – Very disappointed as the connector on both chargers that I purchased snapped off very quickly. The guarantee offered by Pulse excludes the connector coming off, which leads me to believer that they are well aware of the issue and protecting themselves from a flood of returns. I am a very careful user and strongly recommend that you do NOT purchase this product unless you want to throw your $$ away!!

Dissapointed – I bought one of these for my daughter, she removed the charger from the phone port she felt it bend slightly, as she connected it again she noticed that it wasn’t charging. She did not misuse the product in any way and knew how to prevent the connection from breaking or bending and feel the charger is far too fragile

Pulse chargers are faulty – I brought pulse charger duo And one of them stopped working So they sent out a replacement Now the replacement has stopped working suddenly ! These are faulty. Very frustrating I want refund
