RACO ceramic – Absolute rubbish, basically turned into a wok the first time i used it at medium heat and about three weeks in everything sticks to it like crap to a blanket. Will never buy one of their products again!  Show details

Non stick...right – I bought a Raco Tranquility from Harris Scarffe, I'm looking for another frypan cause this one is terrible! It stained after a few days, I make fried eggs, they stick like glue! I've tried lots of oil, no oil, a clean pan before starting, they always stick!! Worst frypan I've had, and I do a LOT of cooking! I'm now looking at cast iron. I've only had it for only just over a month!  Show details

It looks trendy and nice, however it's a waste of money – I have bought this pan in almond color in Harris Scarfe in Dec 2016, while the financial year sale. It was a great price compare to the original price and I was very happy with it's outlook and it's healthiness as it's ceramic!!! I don't use it very often, only my boyfriend use it for frying eggs or making pan cakes. He always complaint this… Read more

pan is not good and I didn't agree with him as my first use it was pretty good while i only cook mushroom with sauce.

However, one day I used it for just plain fry rice, no oil, just slight cook it through to golden brown. I just use the wooden spoon to soften touch the pan, and a big brown scratch was on the pan straight away! I couldn't clean it at all no matter anyway... I don't want to use hard sponge to wash it as it's fragile to that.

Another day, my boyfriend cooked egg and it stick a big stain...I rinse it for 2 days and scratched it hard so it was nearly clean...

Now I understand why the professional said Teflon is still better, at least lasts longer than ceramic...

Just an advice...

So pleased I bought them – Bought a twin pack from target, really looking for non stick that wouldn't contaminate the food. Read the reviews after I bought them and felt ripped off. It's been two months now and they've been wonderful. Definitely non stick and so easy to clean. Love them.  Show details

Raco Ceramic - worst frypan ever ! – Bought a RACO Ceramic 30cm open skillet. Was great for about 1 week. Followed all the care instructions and have never even put it in the dishwasher, even though it says it is dishwasher safe, but over time everything started sticking. By the 6 month mark it was useless, everything sticks to it like glue, heaps worse than my 20 year old stainless… Read more

frypan. It now looks like crap, because you can't use a real scourer to clean it, and it cooks like crap. Waste of money.

Excellent for my needs – So far it's seems good but I am a little worried about a couple of earlier reviews. I have no luck with almost every brand of frypan from middle range to the most expensive brands.. all the non stick properties go so quickly even though I follow their instructions and never scour or use abrasive cleaners or utensils! I'm hoping this type is better… Read more

and the weight is good for me as some others are too heavy. I bought the set of the blue with cream coating with normal and small size frypan.

Raco ceramic - Don't waste your money, disappointing product – After making pancakes with our new Raco ceramic non-stick pan this morning the surface now seems ruined. The gleaming new white surface is now brown and the staining won't clean off. The non-stick characteristics are gone. Clearly not a good product.

You will be disappointed – We had high hopes for this pan. It looks nice, heats evenly, has a solid feel, and a non-stick surface -- all for less than $60 depending on the size you chose. But even with great care the surface will lose its non-stick abilities within weeks. The first pan we got (ours was 30cm) started off with a reasonable non-stick ability, not as good as… Read more

the teflon based pans, but sufficient and with the added benefit of the ability to place in the oven due to its ceramic surface. But within a month the surface quickly lost its non-stick capability. I was ready to resign it to the camper but my wife called the company and she mailed it back under warranty. Much to our surprise they sent another! We tried again, reading the instructions carefully, taking great care in its use, but within only weeks the non-stick surface degraded. So with $60 down the drain we went to IKEA and bought a similar pan for $29 which has performed perfectly for the last 6 months. Never will I buy a Raco ceramic surface again. Nice handle, solid feel Non-stick surface degrades within weeks, even with great care

Most used item in my kitchen – Most used item in my kitchen. Heavy aluminium skillet with enamelled coating on the outside. Comfortable cool to touch handle and not too heavy to lift with one handy. Heavy base helps with even and fast heat distribution. Non stick and very stylish. We use it to fry eggs, scramble eggs, fritatas, crepes, stir-fries, minute steak and many more. inexpensive but good quality
