Lifetime to 5 years – Unfortunately cast irons are not what they used to be. My great-grandmother used to put her pot inside of a woodfire oven said my mum. My mum interested my grandmother cast iron. So this is one of those things expect to withstand a nuclear blast. But not mine, after 5 years the internal exploded into pieces. Contact Raco and they were most apologetic and provided me with a replacement, which wasn't a cast iron, was a very light pot with a smart engineered material that does the same job, although doesn't have that rustic look or expected lifetime durability. I wouldn't dare putting it inside of an woodfire oven, but works out great for my gas cooktop. Thanks Raco

Purchased in for $350.

Blew up like pop corn – 8 years, not that much use and cracked off the internal covering into pieces all down to raw metal. Hit us all in the face with burnt metal and burn stuff in the house. Absolutely poor.

Purchased in for $350.

Poor quality – I have a dutch oven. The first time I used it stained and has never come clean. waste of money. I live in the country and was told I would have to pay the frieght for them to consider looking at it. Too expensive to freight. I did not want to throw good money after bad.

Irreplacible- I love it – 5 Ltr oval red with lid, used for large family gatherings holds enough for a 20 person gathering. The dishes cooked in this pot have always been perfect & had comments fron all attending the gatherings ( Usually around 20 or more)My experience with this cookware has been all positive and I always smile at the opportunity to use it knowing I will have amazing success makes cooking pleasurable & easy. Reliable & co-operative The lid "knob" could be looked at for redesign- brittle, breaks relatively easily
