Ok, blunt it is. Overall: as useless as udders on a bull. I use it infrequently, usually while traveling, which is why I allowed 12 months before writing this review. It performs so poorly that, even then, I end up visiting a barber. The foil shaving attachment performs just as poorly—if not worse. There's no power, no cutting, and it even seizes… Read more

on my stubble.

Before I even used it, I noticed the slide-on comb had a tooth missing, so that was that. The nose hair trimmer seems adequate, but I've only used it once or twice, so I can't say much about it.

I sometimes wonder if it actually cuts at all. It seems to lack the power to do anything other than buzz. I held onto it for about twelve months because I like to give products a fair go, but now it's found its way into my electronics recycle bin.

I know it's relatively cheap to buy, but if you end up needing to replace it with another brand, it becomes expensive in the long run. Cheap doesn't have to mean poor quality—I used to have a Woolworths off-the-shelf cheapie, and it performed great. Sure, it went through batteries like they were going out of fashion, so I opted for this rechargeable unit.

I bought it on Amazon at full price ($29) and assumed it would be okay—but it wasn't. Do yourself a favor: do NOT buy this. At best, it's useless.

False advertising – Purchased this believing it was lithium powered as advertised by majority of retailers but upon reading manual found it isn't and requires 16 hour charge time. I had previous model (exactly same as this model without being advertised as lithium powered) which I was only able to use as a hair and nose trimmer due to it struggling with course hair… Read more

and holding charge. Even Remington's expensive lithium powered trimmers require 4 hours charging. Have purchased a Wahl trimmer which is powerful, top quality and only requires 1 hour charge. Also don't bother contacting Remington as you'll get no response. STAY CLEAR OF REMINGTON PRODUCTS
