set to below half it picks up the slightest movement from a leaf on a shrub. Regardless of what I do the unit will not send email alerts to my email address. There is no fine tuning this camera unlike some of the cheaper models of different brands such as Human shape detection, and of course remote rotation of the view. Overall I'm most disappointed in this model considering it is twice the price of another brand I have but no where twice the quality. I am convinced that if you want a security camera to operate well during the night you are better of purchasing a stand alone infared light to compliment the security camera regardless of what brand you buy, the cameras infared is no where good enough.
