Ring Video Doorbell 4 + Chime

Does the job – This doorbell has excellent clear video. View is wide enough, but not enough depth to see the ground where small packages may be placed. However it will record the delivery coming and being left. Providing a wedged shaped piece of wood behind the camera helps more with ground view. This doorbell was also purchased with the chime, which rings with no problem from the other side of the house and is loud to hear. It connects well with Alexa which allows you to see who is ringing the doorbell as well as talk to them 2way. It also rings through my phone when I'm not home, but there is a few seconds of delay. The battery could last longer and I am charging it every couple of weeks, but I imagine the solar charger would help considerably with this and this will be my next purchase. What really let's it down is it requires ongoing payments for the life of it through subscription to enable full use of all the features of the doorbell. It would be good if the tool to undo the security screw had a cavity or compartment in it which can be opened and closed to place the screw in because the screw is small and easy to lose. I give this product a 4 star rating.
