Best brush for Long Haired Cats – I have bought many many brushes for my shedding long-haired cat. She sheds her own body weight in hair from mid-Spring to Summer and is often sporting cat dreadlocks. I have tried the Furminator brushes and combs, standard slicker brushes and any number of brushes - she eventually hates them all and won't come anywhere near me as soon as I get the brush out. This brush is DIFFERENT - she loves it! She now complains loudly if she doesn't get brushed. It doesn't pull and it gets right through to the undercoat. It is super easy to clean and it was an impulse buy at Woolworths when on special ( I think around $12). I have also bought one for a friend, whose cat also loves it. The self-cleaning function is brilliant and easy to use, this is by far the best slicker brush I have used on my cat - I am going to buy a spare for when this one eventually wears out.
