Warranty trap – The blower was amazing. Bought in a deal with the line trimmer 2 years ago. Which was equally amazing. Just recently invested in the skin for Lawn mower too. Used it once. And guess what? Battery suddenly no longer works. Says it’s fully charged but won’t power any of my tools. Manufacturing date is clearly 2018 on the battery yet Ryobi refuses to honour 3 year warranty. I have no receipt, it’s been almost 2 years, but it’s obvious it’s faulty and obviously still within warranty. I am super annoyed. I now have 3 useless skins until I pay out over $150 for a new battery. My tip, perhaps choose the cheaper Ozito. I’ve never had any problem with their after sales service or warranty. Incredibly disappointed.

Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $300.

Excellent home blower – Having come from a time where using a petrol 2 stroke blower 3 hours a day, to now using this little unit - it's honestly not that bad for its form factor and design. The battery lasts for about 20 odd minutes, that's well enough for the usual size home. It's not overbearing in either weight or noise - no fumes or fuel spills or sore hand from vibration from extended use. Good grip from the overmolded TPU handle, easy to hold and comfortable.

While it doesn't have the power of a corded or petrol powered unit - the supplied 5.0amp battery is plenty enough to blow dirt, dust, grass clippings, dog hair, dry off the car to a degree, rid the pebblecrete of a majority of leaves and other crap.

Battery charger is good and quiet quick, and the cable could do with a little more meat to stop it from uncontrollably kinking into a mess.

Can't really fault it yet. I use it near every morning around the house or when needed.

Edit 20200903 - battery was progressively getting worse in holding its charge - took back to Bunnings and was immediately swapped over for another "Version 2" and the battery easily lasts twice as long.

Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $199.

Blower without blow – This product was a huge disappointment, it has all the blowing power of a 90 year old man with severe asthma. Purchased 2 weeks ago from Bunnings as a back up blower for $199, I should’ve kept my money, it barely blows a couple of leaves and forget about it if anything is damp or wet, only getting 2 stars because I can use the battery that comes… Read more

with it which I will use on my other Ryobi products. Honestly unless you have less than 5 leaves to blow don’t waste your time with this one, spend an extra $100 bucks and get the Stihl BG56 blower, 10 times better

Yep, does what is supposed to do, looks good, light and relatively quiet – Ok, after reading these reviews I purchased the blower and I am impressed. I already had the battery from the drill and put it on ( despite it not being charged for many months) and it did a great job clearing my driveway and paths. Purchased from Bunnings for $109. Show details

Perfect for the DIY user – Surprisingly powerful enough, very easy to use and assemble It’ll blow away your leaves, grass clippings and debris wherever you have it The most convenient feature is of course it being cordless The 5ah battery included in the kit (charger as well) last enough for all the outdoor requirements and front nature strip The price is competitive and… Read more

importantly the 6 year warranty via online registration is easy and you can return it to Bunnings if the unit becomes faulty. I’ve noticed a couple review comments (giving this blower a rating of 1 Star honestly should be removed) complain about returning their ryobi product being declined due to not having their receipt, if I ran a business I most certainly would not replace or refund any product without proof of purchase! So as soon as you purchase any ryobi (or any product really)register it online and upload your receipt and you’re done! Also don’t purchase second hand goods if you want warranty without a receipt!

All In all I recommend this product and especially the access provided for returns via bunnings stores and the easy to use ryobi tools register website, it’s lightweight, powerful and quiet enough + environmentally Friendly.

One of my favourite "toys" – I love this blower. We downgraded from a high powered Ozito blow/vac with cord to this cordless Ryobi and I'm so glad we did. It's light and easy to use. We have a number of Ryobi products so already have batteries ready to go. Pros: - No cord! - Light - Affordability Cons: - No strap - Unable to adjust strength of the "blow" I use this all the… Read more

time and find it suits the needs for our back verandah and long driveway. It does struggle to blow the heavy layer of sand around the sandpit that the kids love to throw out but I feel like this would probably be difficult for any blower. Have had it for almost a year and it hasn't skipped a beat. Highly recommend it for something that's light, easy to use and does the job.

Not enough power to do the job – My wife bought me the 90mph 18v leaf blower. $65. She didn’t realize it didn’t have a battery. By the time I got the blower it was too late to return it. The battery alone was very expensive so I bought the unit with the battery . $99 So I now have two bad blowers. This takes way too long to get the job done. By the time I get the dirt and… Read more

leaves out my garage the wind is blowing it back in because the power is so weak. Too weak to blow out spider webs. The battery dies too fast. One mowing and i can’t even get all the grass blown off the sidewalks and driveway before it needs charged again. Very dissatisfied with this product. This is unit is no better than a blow dryer for your hair. Very weak don’t buy it. Highly over priced.

Batteries do not last and warranty not upheld – I have the blower and it works ok, not as powerful as I thought it would be. Issue is with the warranty for the battery (which I brought with another Ryobi product) which is seemingly impossible to receive and I had to buy another one just to keep using the products I had already brought. As the original battery died well before the warranty… Read more

period was up I feel I am just throwing my money into a well. I would definitely not recommend Ryobi. I do have some AEG stuff and it seems much better and I wish I had gone with this from the start.

Battery difficult to remove – I am quite happy with the product, it does a good job. Removing the battery from the blower to recharge is difficult for a female hand. I cannot reach across the battery to depress the catches on both sides. If I was on my own, I would be unable to use. Show details

It simply blows good – Another good product from Ryobi. It just does what it says - for a good price. It's very light, not that noisy, simple to use, and blower direction is focused. This is a 9/10 product. This is one of my top three products that I use almost weekly from Ryobi. As with all the 18v Ryobi products , the interchangeable batteries are the winner here also. Show details

Ryobi batteries are over sized and not user friendly for the average person...unless you have large hands – After struggling to release the battery from the charger with both hands the blower worked well but seriously trying to remove the battery from blower with two hands just wanted to throw it in the trash. Please please this battery is defiantly not user friendly. I also have purchased your lawn mower and line trimmer and find gardening is very frustrating using Ryobi equipment.  Show details

Don't purchase if you do what I do – I am very annoyed with myself, purchased our second robin blower after the first purchased unit died just after 12 months, battery was good blower was not. so on special I bought a second Ryobi the one package with a better, you guessed it now I have two batteries and two dud skins I'm a dumbie because knowing the second would quit on me I forgot… Read more

to put my Bunnings receipt in a safe place and honestly can not be bothered with chatting to the motorised staff at Bunnings if you get my drift Anyhow as a guide we used the blower every second day and the once a fortnight to blow driveway, road at the front and about 50m of council walkway, think this would equate to roughly 3 years Service, then the thing dies

Awesome blower – This blower blows! It's so easy to use and it's very convenient because it's cordless (just ensure the batteries go on charge when they are flat!). We have two batteries available for use. I am overall very happy with the product. We use it every couple of weeks. We only have a medium size space front and back garden and patio to do though! Show details

Great little machine – I was given this as a gift after complaining about the much larger plug in I have. It's definatley alot lighter and so easier to use. The battery only lasts about half an hour. However for me it's enough. Definatley not as powerful as the larger plug in ones. But it does the job I need for our larger paved patio and front area of the house which… Read more

Keep your receipts! – Onto the 3rd or 4th of these so far. It seems as if dust is sucked through the bottom vent and eventually wrecks the motor. My wife uses one for her work and they haven't lasted more than 3 months each. #1. On/off switch broke after a few months #2. Made a very strange noise #3. Motor lost power and it just didn't work as well as the other one we… Read more

Used one day.. returned the next day – I bought this machine as it was on special $107 down from $199. This included battery and skin, as the 5 V battery alone will cost around $150, as I was told. It was a good deal. It was very light and so there are no cords attached to it. Battery is just enough for my medium sized yard. But this unit is not very powerful enough. I still have a… Read more

Ozito corded 3 in 1 unit, which I bought around 5 years before which is still working well, except the vacuum and it has more grunt than the battery powered ryobl unit.

Ozito is way more cheaper and more powerful. I will buy another Ozito unit

This little beauty work really well! – My only regret is that I did not buy this blower when it first came out as I have been sweeping for way to long. It's a little on the noisy side but all blowers are. I use it almost daily and my driveway and walkway always look immaculately clean. I even take in inside sometime to blow the dust from under the lounge suite which is awesome. Show details

Strong blower, perfect for around the home – Good sized blower that is powerful enough to do most jobs around the home. Fits all your One+ 18v batteries in the range. naturally sit where the balance point is, so it’s a slight adjustment to turn it on or off (nit picking issue) and not a variable speed, but I usually know what I want to blow away before I hit it so not really an issue for me with this unit.

Overall, good price, very durable and does what it says on the tin. Would recommend.

Easy to use – I use my blower every weekend to clean up around the yard. It's great for me as it isn't too heavy to use both on my verandah and then get down the stairs to the yard. Also the fact that it is cordless makes it a dream to use compared to my old clunky blower which always seemed to be getting caught on something. I now have all Ryobi tools as the batteries are the same for all their products which is so helpful. Show details

great blower – Good size, light and easy to use, handle had a good balance to carry. 5.0A Battery has really long hours for this small motor. The only negative point is that the noise slightly bigger than what I expected, but under acceptable level. The removale nozzle helped it work much easier.  Show details

ok but disappointingly noisy – The annoying thing about the vac is that it doesn't need to vibrate and be that noise. Yep - its a little motor trying to do a big job, though I am sure a bit of tweaking would fix it. What does everybody hate about blowers? Noise! People want to use a broom instead. Challenge to Ryobi - can you maintain blow with less noise?  Show details

Such a good product – I purchased this item from Bunnings and have been using it for about 8 weeks now. An every day help – Bought this in conjunction with a special on a drill which came with two batteries. The blow vac is more than enough for my needs. 'sweep' with the blow vac and my path is clear.

It is not heavy, has a slide on off button, so that it engages without having to keep my finger down on a button.

The battery recharges in 2.5 hrs which is fairly quick.

I like that a battery covers many different products. They have not changed the battery shape in over 20 yrs, which was a big draw card for me.

I like the bright green colour - no losing it !

A long warranty which is extended if you register it online. I bought it from Bunnings and supposedly if anything should happen I just return it to Bunnings.

Great cordless blower – I purchased this blower at Bunnings Warehouse after having an Ozito cordless blower which was given to me as a Christmas present, but packed up before I could even use it. The great part with this product is the interchangable battery which can be used to power other Ryobi 18V One + units. I have used Ryobi products before, however not the One + series. I know I won't be disappointed.  Show details

Excellent little time saver – Best investment. I get a lot of leaves blowing into my driveway from the street and this unit is perfect in helping me tidy up in record time.
