Salt&Pepper Teacups not fit for purpose - making tea! – Purchased 2 Salt&Pepper teacups and after washing individually, tried to make a cup of tea with them (for the first time). As soon as the hot water hit the cups, they BOTH cracked! When I contacted the company, they rejected any responsibility, implying that hot water can cause cracks, (so how do you make a cup of tea with the 'teacups'??). We have the same style of cups from this company bought pre-covid and have never had an issue. We were advised to contact the place of purchase and 'to discuss our options'. Thankfully, we received a refund from the place of purchase but what a disappointment that S&P would not acknowledge a faulty batch/product. Now reluctant to purchase any of their products.
