Awesome Sound and Features! - Bangs your buck beyond its value! – Purchased this Bluray Home Theatre System a couple of weeks back. It is an awesome system with 3D / Bluray / DVD and lots of DSp/Prologic/Dolby3D sound settings etc. We have it in our open space lounge (quite a big area) and yet at half the volume its vibrating our couch and blowing our ears off with its sound .. too good! .. Comes with Samsung SmartHUB and Bigpond Movies/TV and other internet applications that you can use on your tv through the system by wirelessly connecting to a router in your home. Awesome internet accessibility.

We saw a 3D movie through the HTS and it was awesome, the other cool thing about this system is that you can convert any 2D movie into 3D for depth on the fly! It does a good job (not awesome) at converting it - you can pretty much watch any movie in 3D now (with a 3DTV and glasses ofcourse!)

Once you've configured the speaker distance and its power through the menu, you'll have an awesome sound and display experience. The rear speakers and powered but are wireless so no running cables from front to back. At around $500 you can NOT go wrong with this purchase. The next one up (6750w) benefits from vertical 7.1 ch which in my opinion is not worth the extra $$... the 5550w has a virtual 7.1 ch if you want to experience somewhat how it'd sound. Go ahead buy it! Sturdy construction, Inexpensive, Awesome sound, Full of features, Great 3D display Internet connectivity hangs sometimes, not a biggie;

after buying this (Feb 2012) unit in less than three months i have had two speakers replaced in each front tower and now the wireless receiving module has gone down. And fine the work will be done under warranty but they will not replace the unit,and have lost a more than a month at the moment not being able to use my NEW system.
