Better get the warranty – I have 5 Lcds with the 55" Samsung being the newest. It lasted less then 2 years before large dark shadows appeared covering the left part of the screen. Be sure if you purchase a Samsung you get the warranty or you will be in the same boat as me having to replace a $2k tv in less then 2 years. All my other Lcds were much cheaper and are much… Read more

older two of which are no named brands and they all still look like I bought them yesterday. Very disappointed in quality with Samsung won't buy another one of their Lcds (Led).

frustration with Samsung plasma tv repair – I am writing this review with great frustration. My Samsung plasma TV has been turning on and off several times a day for the last 3 months. Several technicians have come home and replaced various parts and the problem continues. During the Xmas and new year period our TV was taken away to be tested under their conditions and we did not have a… Read more

TV for more than 10 days. Finally I got a loan TV which worked perfectly and then our TV came back, again with the same problem. Samsung must have spent several hundred $$ trying to fix this without replacing it after the 3rd go. We now have another technician coming on the 19th, but I am not hopeful. Samsung, can you please replace my TV without putting us through this hell when the TV turns off and on every few minutes??? I have videotaped the clicking sound that happens before the TV turns back on again. We cant take this any longer. I even asked the Manager to call me but I have not had the courtesy of a phone call. What else should I do???.

Excellent LED – Got my Samsung 55" UA55C6900 LED for a bargain on interest free terms. Had the TV for over 2 years now. The TV features a beautiful bezel and stand. The HD quality picture is nothing short of outstanding. It is ultra clear, ultra crisp and ultra bright. I am totally obsessed with the technical capabilities of the TV. I use the DLNA feature to… Read more

stream movies and songs with the Samsung PC share manager . The Anynet feature lets me use my TV remote for browsing my PS3 menus. Although Samsung's remote app on Itunes has been phased out there are few substitute Apps. Also the 2 USB ports helps me connect my external storage devices to the TV. However there are few small issues, Samsung Apps for internet TV available in Australia are very limited and useless including Facebook. Although Samsung is developing new apps for newer TV's.

All in all a very good TV for the price. Great Pictures, Lots of Features No Browser, Limited app support

Excellent – Samsung are really on a winner here. Samsung have also been a pleasure to deal with redeeming a free Blue ray player i received also.Previous dealings with Samsung have also been good. I have had the tele 5 months now & I cant fault it. Everything!I purchased the 46" version. This panel has everything you could ever need in respect to… Read more

connection.I have Blue ray player, T-box,Ipod & PC all connected into it.Very easy to use & set up.A very classy looking panel.Picture quality is outstanding. The plastic piece that connects the nice die cast base to the panel is a bit of a worry.Didn't bother me though as I mounted mine on the wall.

Good – This screen caught our attention in the store as it was head and shoulders better quality than the surrounding brands. Now home, we are loving its connectivity options (easy to set up too). This telly is full of cool little features (they even gave us a cleaning cloth), but I wish the stand connection was a bit more secure... might consider a wall… Read more

OK – slim stylish design, very good picture and sound, lots of customization options for picture and sound. But the stand is a joke. The part of the stand into which TV is mounted is made of cheap easily cracking and breaking plastic. I wouldn't trust it to mount tv onto it without securingtv to the wall with a string or wire. This is a crucial part… Read more

holding the whole unit and it should be made of metal.

Shame on you Samsung! lots of features, USB movies and photos, lots of set up options for picture and sound, internet connection cheap plastic stand, it cracks easily, TV can fall off

Great TV, super clear image and easy to use – I bought my Samsung 55" LED C6900 TV approximately a year and a half ago. I love the clarity of the screen, the overall look of the unit and the fact that it is super slim and light weight. It really looks great in my lounge room. The only thing that annoyed me is that last week I was watching TV when suddenly the screen went blank and the… Read more

HDMI inputs all stopped working. The TV works normally on free to air channels and AV inputs but will no longer work on HDMI. I tried different HDMI leads, different devices but still no good.

Unfortunately the TV only comes with a 12 month warranty which is a little annoying considering the cost of the unit.

Luckily I paid extra and got the extended warranty, so its currently getting repaired.

I will update this once I receive the TV back.

I would still buy another Samsung TV.. Even though I've had the HDMI problem. Great picture, slim design, looks great HDMI input stopped working

Stunning picture with HD channels – Definately more economical than a Plasma to run, some great features including internet capability, has a crystal clear picture with BluRay and HD channels. Good buy. Inexpensive and energy efficient Programme guide very slow to come up on screen

Good – Great Tv to plug external hard disk into but other equipment like DVD player you have to by compatable items which makes it expensive. Good looking TV. Very economical to use. Fits in my cabinet where a bigger Tube TV would struggle. Picture quality is fantastic with the Progresive scan model Sound is weak and tinny. Cant find the right setting to… Read more

make it sound any better.

There is no sound output to plug into exterbal speakers you have to buy another expensive unit to connect it into and with limited space it is not viable.

Excellent – Excellent product overall. One of the best panels on the market. Sign of things to come from Samsung. Easy to setup and use. Bought the 46" size. Very stylis and slim. Excellent picture quality. Crisp and crystal clear. Colours are vibrant. Enough HDMI and other connections to connect all input sources. Have my BD player, Media player and XBOX… Read more

connected to it. Normal dvd quality output from this panel is very comparable to Blue Ray Disc quality on other panel brands. Menu layout very easy and user friendly. very easy to setup. communicates well with other samsung devices like BD and DVD Player Recorders. I have mounted mine onto the wall with all wire hidden behind the wall. Very easy to do looks a million bucks. Peripheral equipment such as BD Player and slimline wall mount can be expensive. Paid more than $25o for my slimline wall mount
