I had a Series 8 60"Samsung Smart TV that we paid nearly $5000 for. I had read Samsung's BLURB that their Range of TV's were good for 100,000 hours. That amounts to 12,500 DAYS if you watched TV 8 Hours a Day, which we went nowhere near on average. No Kids at Home either. It DIED STONE DEAD after 5 Years & 9 Months. If we had watched 8 hours a Day it means it still only lasted 2100 Days i.e. 16,800 Hours, 83,200 Hours SHORT of 100,000 Hours. Samsung didn't want to know us & wanted to charge about $850 to Fix it. No respect for Australian Consumer LAW which states apart from NORMAL Warranty (which we had extended to 5 years, but the Retailer was not obliged to fix it after 5 years). I went back to the Retailer who we did a LOT of Business with. He recommended we replace it with a 60" TCL Smart TV which has a Manufacturers Warranty for 3YEARS & had all the Functions that the Samsung Has. He advised us that TCL also makes over 50% of all TV Screens in the WORLD for many other TV Companies We purchased the 60"TCL for $750 on Special (now about $895) & if it lasts 3 Years under Warranty then dies I would just buy a NEW ONE. It has a fantastic Picture & TCL stick by their Warranty. The old Samsung is still here (Wantirna Sth 3152) & if any Parts fit yours you can have it. We also still have 2 30 year old Analog TV's which require Set Top Boxes which we watch at times & THEY WORK PERFECTLY. NO MORE SAMSUNG FOR US!
How to connect prism soundbar to UA60F8000 Samsung tv which have Dolby Atmos
Hey, there are a few ways to connect your sound bar to your TV: 1. an HDMI cable via the HDMI port labelled ARC/eARC 2. an Optical cable, in case your TV doesn't have HDMI 3. an analogue audio cable if your TV has an analogue audio output 4. Bluetooth if your TV has that feature.
I would also suggest contacting PRISM to help guide you in this.
Please reach out if further assistance is needed, I hope this has helped.

My advice is don't spend money on this TV. I paid nearly $5000 for mine when I bought it having read Samsung's Report this TV would be good for at least 100,000 hours of viewing. I also extended the Warranty to 5 YEARS with the Retailer. A friend who normally follows my lead bought the same Model too at the same time. In less than 2 years, His totally failed & Samsung replaced it. Mine lasted 5 years & 9 Months & also totally failed. 100,000 hours of use at 8 hours a day (which we didn't do anywhere near that ) should last about 35 years. Bear in mind Australian Consumer Law is supposed to protect Consumers as to what a reasonable Person would expect from a Product. I still have 2 Analog TV Sets that with the Set top Boxes still work extremely well after approx 30 years. SAMSUNG would not do anything about repairing or replacing my Series 8 F8000 65" TV which turns out the WORST Purchase I have ever made. I still have the Garbage in my Lounge Room looking for a place to DUMP it. My Samsung Phone is not much better. I thought SAMSUNG was a reputable Company making RELIABLE Products. Definitely NOT so in my experience. I bought a 65" TCL which had a 3 YEAR Manufacturers Warranty for $750 which does more than the Samsung did feature wise & their Service is slow but impeccable. TCL apparently manufactures around 50% of TV Screens in the World for many other Brands. For $750 if TCL failed after 3 years I would be way in front of Samsung's Customer treatment & just buy another TCL.
Are you able to connect Bluetooth headphones or speaker to this model
Don't know? We had a 65" set which Samsung advertised that this product would be good for 100,000 hours of use. I extended the Warranty for around $600 to 5 years. There are 168 hours in 7 days & we wouldn't have averaged more than around 40 to 50 hours of viewing per week. Apart from Warranty, Consumer Law overrides it by the life of any product would be what reasonable People would expect it's Life to be. So based on what Samsung published that would mean 40 years. After 5years & 9 months our $5000 Samsung died, stone dead. Samsung refused to do anything about it other than advise it would cost around $850 to fix it. I bought a 65" Smart TCL (who manufacture about 50% of screens used by many & varied TV manufacturers throughout the world and with manufacturers 3 year warranty ) for $750 It is fantastic & TCL are very helpful. I also have 2 ANDROID TV's which are about 25 years old and with their set - top boxes they still work perfectly. I also have a Samsung Mobile phone which is nothing but trouble.
Hi there, Could you tell me is it 4k or 8k? And how much the price is?
Hi Ali, the UA75F8000AM is an LED TV. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued.

I bought 65" Samsung for $5000 top of the range and took out Harvey Norman extended Warranty for 5 years. Despite what ACCC states that any warranty is subject to what a reasonable Person would expect from any particular product, my TV died instantly at 5years 9 months old and Samsung ignored me. I replaced it with a TCL 65" Smart TV for $750 with standard 3 year Warranty. TCL is the biggest TV components manufacturer in the world apparently and makes the screens for most other TV Manufacturers also. I am happy with the TCL and if it only lasts 3 years at that price I will replace it again with a new one with 3 years warranty again. My advice DON'T BUY SAMSUNG. One of Australia's biggest retailers (also an International Company ) advised me even they could not get any satisfaction for their Customers from Samsung. I also have a Samsung Mobile Phone which is very troublesome. Won't be replacing that with Samsung either.

My experience with Samsung is ALL BAD. I purchased the top 65" Model Smart TV in 2014 after Samsung making Statements like you should get 100,000 hours of service from those TV's. I took out the extended Warranty through Harvey Norman giving me 5 years Total Warranty. After 5 years and 9 Months my $5000 TV died instantly and Samsung wouldn't do anything despite Consumer Law states "What we should reasonably expect from a Product" I still have my old analogue TV, an 83" with a Set Top Box which would be close to 20 years old and it still works. I went back to Harvey Norman and bought a TCL 65" Smart TV with a standard 3 year warranty on special for $750 and it is Netflix compatible etc. etc. and apparently TCL is the biggest components Manufacturer of Screens etc for TV's in the world and half of the manufacturers buy their Screens from TCL. With 3 years Warranty for $750 I'd be happy to throw it out after 3 years if it fails and buy another latest model of TCL the same. I have a Samsung Mobile as well and so does my Wife and they too are terrible. no more samsung for us, especially when they don't care if a $5000 tv only lasts 5 years and 9 months. they want about $750 to fix it and I bought a NEW one for $750 with 3 YEARS Warranty. The Samsung still would contain Components nearly 6 years old if fixed and they won't support those Components.

Is the Samsung HW-R450 Soundbar compatible with this TV's Bluetooth?
Hi Bob, the HW-R450 and UA55F8000AM would not be compatible in connecting via Bluetooth. It would only be able to be connected via optical only.
