Terrible – I have previously reviewed this TV but would like to add to the review. After seven short months the TV began rebooting itself. Over the course of a few weeks this got worse and worse until it turned itself off never to turn back on. Feeling quite pleased that we had an extended warranty we contacted Samsung and logged an issue. They advised… Read more

that it would be ten days until they could get a service technician out. We are metro so we were slightly surprised at the delay but not overly concerned. The technician arrived, was unable to fix the TV, ordered parts and told us we'd hear from them in "a few days". That was well over a month ago now and our TV is still not working. Samsung will provide no ETA on fixing the issue and continually blame the Repair Centre. They have set themselves a generous 60 day SLA so we've got another three weeks to wait until they consider the repair time "excessive". Three times Samsung representatives have told us that they will investigate our case and give us a call back to update us. Not one of them has bothered and in fact, the staff are more often than not verging on rude. I wrote letters of complaint - again they haven't bothered to respond. It's a pity as the product is quite nice when it works - but the lack of Customer Service and After Sales care lets the company down so badly that I would recommend that anyone even thinking of purchasing a Samsung product seriously consider their options. We won't be purchasing anything from this company again. TV picture is great Samsung customer service is terrible (non existent!)

Good – We bought LCD TV about 10 months ago. We are very happy with the TV part. The picture is great, clear, and sound is good. But, there is a different story with other functions of the unit. One of them is a wireless connection. The shop assistant did not tell us that we had to buy a wireless LAN adaptor separately, which is $100-150 on the top of TV… Read more

cost. Plus they are very hard to find. These days one would assume that they are a part of unit. When we purchased this item we were buying not just a TV, but also a PC monitor. I still can not connect our unit to our very standard XP Window PC. We have been on the phone with Sumsung Technical Support and we still cannot use it as PC monitor. We also were not happy that HDMI cable was not enclosed. On the top of that we have received an update for out unit from the company, which did something to our TV that all the setting playing up now. For instance a melody, that plays when you turn on and off the TV, now it keeps playing all the time even though we turned it off in the “Settings” menu.

As a simple TV unit this is a good unit. We like our TV very much. very good picture quality, sound is great, energy efficient, nice slim look. a little bit expensive, for what it is. Extras like using this unit as a PC monitor needs more work to be done on that. It is just not as simple as the product manual tells you.

Excellent – Overall the Samsung Series 9 tv is definately strongly reccomend for all people of all ages because of its wonderful qualities. The samsung series 9 tv is great! It is a wonderful tv that includes a hd set top box in it. It has a wonderul image which comes very clear and is one of the cleares tv's that i've experienced. Another good thing a bout… Read more

is that instead of having buttons all over it, it has a touch screen along the side which lights up allowing you to see the buttons and then turns off making it look like there's nothing there. Also its good because you can put a usb in it and watch movies from that. there is nothing i dislike about it.

Excellent – It is a good TV. It comes with extra "content" which includes fitness, recipes, games and children's. Was able to get great quality with just a miny antenna which I bought for $3. The TV is full HD so it was easy to get the digital channels, which there were several of. The TV comes with a remote and a minimote, which allows you to change channels… Read more

or adjust volume. It is not very heavy forits size. I definitely recommend it. Very good TV, easy to use. Difficult to find the right Samsung Wireless LAN adaptor to connect to the Internet.

Excellent – The 46" panel was purchased for a $4500 price tag on installments just a month ago and i think its a good price. For this kind of a TV that is leading the market currently by far if you read reviews elsewhere is a big bonus. I am still to test all its features as it comes with a whole heap of goodies so be prepared to be amazed for a year… Read more ·  1

altogether as you explore every bit of what this TV offers. Great Panel. Excellent TV with all Feature and great picture. Worth the money spent over other TVs around in the market. Every bit thats claimed abou this Television is true to the bone and this panel does nto disappoint. The 100Hz motion plus feature is questionable. i need to see this work in other TVs to believe it actually does do a better job than others in this panel.

Good – Overall I love my TV, I was lucky to get the 55 inch for $4954 Aus just before Xmas 2008, but now I have seen it as high as $7000+ in 2009. I am also having trouble trying to work out how to do the firmware updates by attaching a USB plug. Maybe the 100 hertz setting can be rectified by a firmware update. Anyway get the TV + Blu-Ray with a HDMI… Read more

connection and enjoy the spectacle. Fantastic Picture Quality and virtually on par with plasma screens. No known lagging from what I've seen so far and it's brilliant with Blu-Ray movies. I thought the 100 hertz motion picture plus was suppose to improve the flow of the picture, however I have found that when it's turned on medium or full it almost gives you the feeling that the movie was recorded on a video recorder. I prefer to have the setting on low or off to have a smoother flow of the movies whether it's DVD or Blu-Ray.
