Tested and Confirmed. The 1TB Sandisk Portable SSD is actually a 500GB SSD.

Purchased in at Officeworks Physical store for $149.

Too risky to use. Going to throw it in the bin – Fails regularly and I have reformatted it about 5 times. Used on a Tv it causes the LG tv to hang. If you Google Sandisk ssd failures they had a huge manufacturing problem that Sandisk won’t admit to

Good portable external storage! – Purchased this SanDisk - 2TB E30 Portable SSD 2023 at JB HiFi this year (2023) in the Black Friday sale. This one is to replace my previous 4TB WD My Passport Ultra - for all my kids' photos and videos. The size of this SanDisk - 2TB SSD is slim and light. It took over 2 hours to transfer my 1.6 TB photos and videos from the 4TB WD My Passport Ultra to the new SanDisk -2TB SSD. (I was using my Microsoft Surface Pro 7) Reading speed was fast while opening the video. At this stage, the only issue - this new storage became extremely hot on the case during that 2 hours file transfer. Will provide a further update in few months time. (25/11/2023)
