I didn't use an indoor aerial, I had a digital external aerial put in which works perfectly.
I’m about to loose my mind. I got my Sanyo LCD24XR11F from a thrift shop and it didn’t come with a remote which I was fine with. But tonight I try setting up the antenna for me to watch tv, it won’t come up with any channels when I’m trying to tune atv/dtv. My last resort is factory resetting it, but there’s where the biggest kick is, it’s password locked and as I said I don’t have a remote and I don’t know the password as it’s a second hand tv. I’ve tried looking it up on YouTube and google as to where the hard reset button is on the tv it’s self but can’t find it. I’ve looked over the tv and can’t find it anywhere
The password on mine was "0000". Hope that helps. If it doesn't work then go to Sanyo's website and try to find the official user manual, where hopefully a generic password is listed somewhere. Goodluck!

I have black vertical lines down the left side of the tv. On the inverter board one of the little coils burnt out. would this cause the black lines

And when it comes on it pixilated Chanel's and don't know how to get the other Chanel's to work and goes back to screen saver mode can U please help me with this problem

For this one you can connect a Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick for about $60 to give it excellent Smart TV capabilities. Otherwise no its not.

Usually red and white stereo RCA connections next to the video outlet or maybe an orange RCA (coaxial) outlet. Check the manual.
There is a 3.5mm audio out jack on the left side. The TV lets you choose whether to mute it's internal speakers or not while using it. I've had mine for 8 years now and use it for output to a good set of speakers to get nice bass.

Why do movies on my usb come up about 1/4 size instead of full screen?
It might be showing you a preview of the video file. Try pressing the Play button (the symbol button)
The video file might be low resolution. There is a magnification option on the remote. Try that

Hi my old Sanyo menu buttons are wack and don't work properly. i also don't have a remote for it. Just bought a Philips universal remote and it's doing my head in because it wont pair to the tv for love or money. Is it possible to do a hard reset without remote and/or menu??

Yes. Use the HDMI cable and connect to any HDMI port. Too easy. Same for any media device and ALL TVs!
When powered the TV, the Sanyo logo appears and then goes off without displaying. What is wrong?

My son's tv, comes on randomly every second night or so. And goes into a search for OAC?!?! Quite frustrating being woken up by this as it also turns the PlayStation on and have to login to turn it off and press exit on the search to turn the tv off again. Surely I shouldn't have to unplug the tv every night (when I remember) to avoid being woken up?
nothing in the manual for OAC, there is OTA which is to allow updates or you could call their repair centre 1300360230.

Screen saver what does it mean?
Just as it says. Saves screen from screen burn. Amazed you dont know. Screen savers have existed on TVs, computers, mobile phones for 30 years. They are automatic ON and OFF so dont worry about it.

No. But you can make it smart by connecting Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick.
My screen has gone very dark when on either digital tv or HDMI input, however when it powers up the Sanyo label is clear and in full color. Tried the 2 recommendations for factory reset, remove power plug, push and hold mute button, as power plug is re-inserted, as well as remove power plug push and hold vol - button while power plug is re-re-inserted. No change???
Check your colour settings
I can't check the colour settings because the screen is to dark to view.
