STILL FANTASTIC AFTER 12 YEARS – I bought these pans, saucepans (5), frypan (1), sauté pan (1) when they first became available in Australia. They’ve been in daily use for the last 10+ years, still do exactly what they’re supposed to do very well, and still look as good as the day I bought them. They’ve been on both gas and ceramic cooktops and gas and electric ovens, with no… Read more

problems. They’re solid but not heavy. Obviously the handles get hot in the oven, but if you choose the right base heating area on the stove, no issue. I put the pans in the dishwasher, but not the lids - reason: the pan rivets are all steel, the lid rivets are aluminium (why?) and are subject to corrosion from the alkaline dishwasher tablets. I’ve not even thought about replacing them but out of curiosity, noticed that some are still available on line. In short, they’ll probably outlive me, no mean feat! Best pans ever.

Best pots I’ve ever had – Best pot set I have ever had, bought 8 years ago, and still look like new. Would buy more but unfortunately can’t find them anywhere in Australia. Even better is I have just discovered a way to make the frypans non stick, what a game changer! Show details

Great quality.cooks great!! – I purchased these in a set of three. They heat up evenly and quickly. I would definatly purchase these again however i dont think i will need too as they look like very good quality with big rivert connecting handle to saucepan. They are mirror polish and clean up easy with a bit of a soak in warm water if neccessary to remove cooked in… Read more

food.Bought these from kitchen warehouse where this particular range is discontinued every where else However scanpan will maintain lifetime warranty (10yrs).

Scanpan frypan Fusion 5 - 26 cm - excellent ! – Just purchased this pan this month and it is just fantastic: before, I had always been a fan of Tefal, which is a great brand as well, but we all know that the black layer wears of after a few years and becomes carcinogenic. The stainless steel pan is easy to clean, doesn't stick and is not to heavy to handle. Even though the Fusion 5 range is discontinued, you can still find a large range at Kitchen Warehouse. Highly recommended !  Show details

So happy that I purchased this Scanpan Clad CS5 set – I have been using my beautiful copper clad Scanpan set for the past month or so, and each time I use it, I feel so happy that I purchased it. The pans are of a very good quality, heavy, cook fast and evenly and are very easy to clean. The lids are also beautifully made with thick glass that fit perfectly and have a big Scanpan inscribed knob that… Read more

does not heat up and it is easy to lift. The handles don't heat up either. I was fortunate to get them at a bargain and they are a joy to cook in. Simply love them.

Great asset to the kitchen – I have several different Scanpans and by far the best is the fusion 5, you will end up handing these down, bring them back please. Easy clean, looking good for years.  Show details

Phenomenal pans – We've had these for several years and they are great. We've got several saucepans, a frypan, several pots, a steamer and roasting pan. Especially when used on an induction cooktop they conduct heat evenly and quickly. They are nice and heavy and are easily cleaned. Although they are classified as dishwasher safe we noticed some erosion of… Read more

the rivets on the outside after several years of dishwashers so we're now handwashing them. (I'm not game to confirm it, but it appears that the corrosion is of a cover to the rivet head rather than the rivet itself, I expect that these pans will last decades).

The 'laser engraved' volume marks on the inside lasted one clean with Scanpan's own cream cleaner before they were history but that's no real loss.

Great pans that will last a lifetime.

Unique products – When I brought my set I did because it was unique having the 5 layer construction and conducting heat up the sides. I had them for a long time now (probably between 5-10yrs) and they have proven durable. I've even taken some camping with me. Having mostly used gas stoves I did notice after moving to a house with an electric ceramic type one that… Read more

the big chefs pan is a bit warped on the base, I guess I must have used too high a heat at some stage, or it's happened over time. Overall they have been durable, pretty easy to clean and stayed looking good. Next time I probably would look at something different but probably only because after so long with the same thing a change to something different would be nice. Definitely happy to keep the pots although I have brought some alternate fry pans (black iron) but they're not as good as the deep scanpan chefs one for big cookups like risotto etc. Easy to clean and durable, quite unique concept in the 5 layer construction up the sides rather than just a heavy base. The big chefs pan warped. I'm not sure if a pan conducting heat all the way up the sides is that much of a good thing sometimes....like when you get that hard to clean rim after cooking a stew for a long time etc.

Great pots – We've had the Scanpan Fusion 5 (Stainless steel) set of pots and steamer (without the frypan) for 12 years now since we got them as a wedding gift. They are still shiny, they cook great, you don't have to have the power on full to cook with them (ceramic cooktop), and easy to clean with a sponge or scourer. Wouldn't trade them for anything else.… Read more

Everything. easy to use, handles don't get hot, easy to clean. Durable. There wasn't more in the set we were given.

Absolutely brilliant – I have had my Fusion 5 items for several years now and they remain beautiful to look at, and still function perfectly. They look like they will last forever. Any discolouration from cooking is easily fixed by using stainless steel cleaning products (I prefer the paste over the powder type). I really like the metal lids, glass lids are so easy to… Read more

break and I won't buy them any more. I never bought the smaller saucepans because long handles make a full saucepan more difficult to use than those with handles on both sides.

Excellent – It's a heavy frypan which means even, thorough cooking, and I love being able to put it into the oven. Very stylish looking item. Heavy duty. Easy to clean. So far, nothing - I love it.

Ok, but wish I'd have done more research – Bought several fry/saute pans & saucepans several years ago. On my gas cooktop, I find that unless I only need to boil, I have to put something underneath the pan to reduce the heat or everything will burn/stick. Can clean with soak and scrubbie, but that may damage the stainless steel coating. Yes, these are heavy, and get heavier when… Read more

filled with water or food. I always need two hands in mitts. Maybe this is less of a problem on an induction cooktop, but I don't have one.

Fry/saute pans all ended up with leaking through the bolts in the handles. It was a problem, but Scanpan did replace all of them without a problem as they were under 10 years old. Didn't need warranty/reciept because they hadn't been on market for 10 years. Pretty Heavy, hot, leaking oil through bolts on saute/fry pans.

love it, plan to collect them all – previously I favoured scanpan's non stick product but I had a few that over a period of time the surface broke down I have fry pans and saucepans in small and medium sizes and a stock pot They must be 2-8 yrs old single cast base beautiful stainless steel let's face it , stainless steel does not wear out the rivets are huge and will… Read more

probably out live me

altho they are corroding on the surface and look like the weekpoint ( 20yrs is my guess )

long warranty 10 years, but I am expecting longer life than that

they go in the oven, the lids are metal and so everthing hangs from the ceiling

I have a few scanpan glass lids I have bought seperately if the need arises, but I don't use them much

I have had no problems other than one pan I dropped on the tiled floor which made the handle a little loose

(the downside of hanging) beautiful, lasts "forever", hard to break, excellent heat retention and distribution, metal lids metal lids, massive rivets look like they will corrode in about 20 years

Bad – Don't bother there is plenty of cookware on the market that will perform better for the price. I went out and bought new cookware and have been happy ever since Highly polished - Thats about it Ummm the price - well over priced for what you get. This was a gift so thankfully not out of pocket for that part! Way to heavy! the handles are darn… Read more

uncomfortable especially when you factor the weight in. In addition the handles get so hot you need a mitt.
