Worth spending more...
I decided to stop buying cheap disposable razors and bought the Schick Hydro Silk, which costs around $25. It came with two blades and then a pack of three blade refills is around $20, although I wait and stock up when I see them on special.
It's definitely worth spending a bit more as the Hydro Silk is smooth, doesn't give me red lumps on my legs, and the blades seem to last longer. My partner even borrowed one of mine for his face and raved about it!
I never thought it was possible to get excited about a razor, but here I am! The Hydro Silk is amazing. The 'water-activated moisturising serum' is incredible; it allows me to shave with nothing more than water.
The blades are out of this world; I've used my razor for over six months and have not had a nick once. It just glides over skin with no issues, ever. I wear glasses, so when using other blades I would have to shave on the edge of the bath so I could see what I was doing. This razor is so amazing and I trust it not to cut me, that I ...feel comfortable shaving with it in the shower when I can't see what I'm doing. That's how great it is, The blades also seem to stay sharp for far longer than any other disposable I've used. The upfront cost is a little ouchy, but this product is totally worth it.
