I have been using Gillette Twin Blade shaving razor for ages. Last year when I went to Japan I found Schick Twin Blade razor in my hotel suite. I found it as good as Gillette or I would say even better. I’ve been using this one razor for almost 2 months and it seems to go on and on…. without losing the sharpness! I also found the sliding plastic cover much easier to use.

I would recommend to at least try Schick razor once. Thanks

Good Luck Schick

Smooth Shave! – This razor gives a super smooth close shave. I use this all the time with never any problems. It glides over harder to reach areas without cutting the skin like over and behind my knees. The blade also has a nice moisturising strip which helps with the shave. The razor lasts ages before needing to change too. Recommend!

Disappointing – I purchased the 4 cartridge refill pack. To say I was disappointed is an understatement as I had read all the glowing reviews. I first used with just water and while there was plenty of serum the end result was no hair was shaved. I then decided to use shaving cream as well, same result. I had also bought the Schick Hydro trimmer as it was on special so, thinking maybe I had a dud blade, I used that. Same result. Would not recommend.

Worth spending more – I decided to stop buying cheap disposable razors and bought the Schick Hydro Silk, which costs around $25. It came with two blades and then a pack of three blade refills is around $20, although I wait and stock up when I see them on special. It's definitely worth spending a bit more as the Hydro Silk is smooth, doesn't give me red lumps on my legs, and the blades seem to last longer. My partner even borrowed one of mine for his face and raved about it!

Perfect razor! – I never thought it was possible to get excited about a razor, but here I am! The Hydro Silk is amazing. The 'water-activated moisturising serum' is incredible; it allows me to shave with nothing more than water. The blades are out of this world; I've used my razor for over six months and have not had a nick once. It just glides over skin with no issues, ever. I wear glasses, so when using other blades I would have to shave on the edge of the bath so I could see what I was doing. This razor is so amazing and I trust it not to cut me, that I feel comfortable shaving with it in the shower when I can't see what I'm doing. That's how great it is, The blades also seem to stay sharp for far longer than any other disposable I've used.

The upfront cost is a little ouchy, but this product is totally worth it.
