My mother was late with payment of her premiums, she tried to do it through her bank directly, but there was no such option. I paid her outstanding premiums with my credit card online (that sum was definitely taken from my bank account by their company). cancelled her policy. When I tried to find out what was happening, would not communicate with me, even though I was already dealing with Australian Seniors in 2023 when her husband passed away. Would not recommend this company to anyone, very rigid and heartless, they just do not care about their customers.

Addit: I have tried to find some answers through their representative prior publishing this review. It was useless, just pretending that they are trying to resolve an issue, but I did not get any answers. The company can keep those $50 that they took from me. Do not use this company, if something goes wrong with your policy, you will never get any answers.

Apparently great to deal with while selling you the funeral package. Not great to deal with when family goes to make a claim ! First email was sent 18 days ago and still going !! Happy to take your money. I'd look elsewhere for insurance. Hopefully the ombudsman will help Show details

burial as you still need to put your family under financial burden on top of emotionally trying to deal with their passing as no funds come to you until you prove not only they passed away with formal death certificate and prove you are related including copies of wills, passports,birth and death certificates, certify a mountain of paperwork that they scrutinise and then ask you for more paperwork, they say payment in 24 hours and still waiting. My parents paid into this insurance for 9 years. My Dad's payment arrived after 48 days and we are still waiting for my Mum's payment after 40 days. Everything had to be completed online and my eldery Mum in the three month she survived my Dad is not computer literate and the company would nor speak to me as Mum was the only listed person. If we relied on this money, Mum would be still waiting for a funeral. Not impressed!!

I can’t believe how easy it was to talk to the person over the phone and he sounded so confident and he made me feel like I was definitely doing the right thing and I then felt calm. Answered all my questions and concerns and was incredibly patient and explained things that I was struggling to understand in a few different ways so I could grasp what the policy offered. Received support from Senior's Funeral Insurance during a very hard financial period and change in circumstances. With their recent backup I was able to continue my Funeral Insurance and deductions are now continuing as before.
