shut off my gas, and said it had to be reported and couldn’t be turned back on. I was quoted $3,265 for a replacement and asked for a $1,300 deposit immediately.
I got a second opinion from another licensed gas plumber who confirmed there was no leak at all.
Overall, this felt misleading, overpriced, and very high-pressure. I would not recommend.

Excellent service – Contacted the company online and received a phone call early the next morning to make an appointment. Technician arrived on time and was very helpful. Gave a fixed quote and arranged for electrians to install ceiling fans a few days later. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff who completed awkward installations on a hot day. attitude, give me a can do attitude and not a can't do. Sure enough, they can't remove a roof sheet to clean the radiator on the aircon, but instead state they have to replace the entire thing at $14,000. They then went to part two, quoting two evap units for shed. They stated, when they remove the house aircon and replace it, they can just install that in the shed.... So it's still good for the shed, but not the house. I since had another company come out, and withiut a worry in the world, removed two roof sheets, cleaned the unit and checked it over. Fixed. Too expensive – So over priced and you have to pay for a non refundable quote/call out fee which takes them 2mins then they show you the price of job and you have a heart attack because your estimate was at least a 3/4 of what it turned out to be. I decided to go to a local electrician for exactly the same work, I made a phone call, he came around to look at the job, worked out what was required to complete all tasks, gave me a price and came back within days to complete all the work. He supplied all the parts, fitted, tested all work and even cleaned up after himself. Exhorbitant, misleading, [Content Removed] – On Sunday 12/05 I google searched for plumbing services near me. I selected expert local plumbing from the link below as they were closest to me. It came up as O'halloran Hill plumbers which is the suburb next to mine. The plumber comes home on Monday. The plumber is from a company called Service Today. These are not the same people as the website (evident in the invoice, websites and screenshot). I show him the tap which needs to be closed tightly so as to stop water from dripping. I ask him to replace the washer. The plumber proceeds to give me a quote of $333.00. I could not believe it, so I asked why they were so expensive and he tells me you should call someone local instead- which I thought they were based on their website. I refuse to continue with the work due to the exhorbitant quote but still get asked to pay the call out fee of $49.00
I then contact Service Today and lodge a formal complaint asking them to refund the call out fee as they were misleading people with false advertising. The original website also had a $0.00 callout fee if booked online which is why I had booked online. When I raise my concern regarding the exhorbitant prices they admit that I was given an incorrect quote and it should have been around $210.00 not $333.00. I therefore explain that my intentions were to get the work done. Had I been given the correct quote in the first place, I would have continued with the work and not have to pay the call out fees. However they refused.
I also tried changing my google search to plumber near hallett cove and the SAME website comes up with name updated (attached). It is evident that they are fooling people because they do not honour the quotes on the website. They then give you an offer to waive off the call out fee if we agree to the quote knowing fully well most of the people would not continue with the work due to the ridiculous quotes. Despite them admitting to have provided an incorrect quote, they refused to refund the amount.
I disputed the transaction with the bank as it was clear that I did not get any service out of this company. Instead they have told the bank they provided me with three quotes- complete lies. I have a screenshot of the quote provided to me attached. This company continues to lie. Think 10 times before engaging with this company.

Very unhappy customer, over price business – $280 call out non refundable fee has to be paid before anyone comes out, then when plumber arrived was quoted $568 plus to unblock a drain, if i had said no to the the job i would have lost the $280. They identified need for an excavator which they organised for the following day. Bradley & his offsider completed repairs without having to use the excavator machine. Additional charges quoted for an excavator were not applied. Scott returned to the site and did the hydro jet cleanup & on the same day company’s handyman came to fix the roadside pavers which turned out better than how the pathway was before the his plumbing job. Each team left the site clean, neat and tidy. The interactions I had with all employees, from initial call till the final completion of the job demonstrated excellent PR skills, efficiency and high standard of productivity.
