Another great Australia Day Long weekend

5:20 pm on a Friday of a long weekend is NOT the best time to to lose all power at home. Fortunately at some stage I had been given a Service Today fridge magnet. A quick telephone call to the company, answered by a friendly lady whose attitude was extremely calming, gave me confidence that I was in good hands. She was wrong about when the electrician would arrive - he was a good hour ahead of time. He was also extremely friendly, competent and efficient. Thanks to daylight saving he upgraded my switch board in day light hours. Of course being after hours it cost more than if I had been able to plan the upgrade but what was shaping up to be a terrible holiday weekend will now be much more enjoyable. Ian - Job #366903

Quick, polite and efficient...

The guys that came out were very quick, super polite (as always) and efficient however the modus operandi appears to push the complete replacement of items and everything seems really expensive even as a "VIP". I have no complaints about the work but from now on i will get other quotes first.

The quote of $184 or $294 (VIP price) for connecting a ceiling fan was extremely high for one junction box worth about $10 and 1/2 hour labour. I reluctantly paid the $49 call out fee then got another electrician to do it.

Blocked Drains

I had four days of unsuccessful attempts to unblock my drain. Finally gave up. I called Service Today at 10am - Sam had Lachlan arrive by midday. All fixed with 60 minutes. Great Service. They are always my first point of call - after I mess it up of course. You would think I would learn wouldn't you.

Phoned this morning re a leaking toilet. From the receptionist who was very polite to both plumbers who attended and looked at the toilet to quoting a price and finally installing a new toilet in the same day I was extremely impressed and satisfied with the professionalism of all concerned to complete the job.
I would highly recommend your company to anybody requiring work done.

Very reliable and prompt in timing to start job very informative explaining situation when progressing along with job when hard to understand making suggestions for maybe what needs to be done down track without up sizing everything for profit giving friendly tips. We were so impressed that they accepted part payments as it was a shock such major work was needed before xmas when money bit tighter. Extremely friendly staff well done all!!!

We had bad experience with your service. So disappointed, your so called electrician left air condition main circuit board cable disconnected while investigation. As a result, Samsung air con. tech didn't attempt to fix the air con issue. Because of your electrician's negligence, we have to pay price for that.

I had good 45 minutes chat with your receptionist at Adelaide. I asked her to book an electrician to connect the cable at circuit board, which he had disconnected without any reason. He should be liable to fix the issue rather creating another issue on top. She kept on asking for call out fee of $49.00 even though that was not our fault. Its all your electrician's fault. Why should we be responsible for that. She also mentioned its in our terms and condition. You guys are worst ever i encounter of. i never ever recommend to other people.

Remember the Australian Consumer Law Guarantees: under s 54, all services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. The guarantees cannot be waived by their exemption clauses, even if you sign on the dotted line. So when they cite their 'terms and conditions' just ignore it as in most cases you get way more protection under statute law ie the Australian Consumer Law.

Hi Stunned,

So, can authority ask the provider to hook up disconnected wire in Switch Box asap. Until now we don't have air conditioner working / air conditioning specialist could not fix the issue without power to the circuit.
