Sharp LC32D77X / LC40L650X / LC46D77X / LC52D77X

Good – I'm very happy with my LC42D77X TV, if only because I picked it up for half the price online. The picture quality is excellent, both for HD television and PC input via HDMI. What I'm not happy with is that it takes ages to navigate through the menu options. Excellent picture quality, reasonably good sound, reliability, gorgeous design. Menu changes too slow, SD videos look horrible

other brands but decided on the Sharp brand because we have had their products before and found them to be reliable. the picture quality is great but a little ghosty at times on both TV programmes and SD recorded TV shows but we live with that. the 3 yr warranty was a good bonus also. sturdily constructed. good colour quality. a little ghosty on some programmes(SD and HD). channel surfing is a bit slow but not a huge problem.
