Sharp 60inch LCD tv – We went into JB Hi Fi to purchase a new 3D loungeroom television. We were very happy with some of the 3D screens, they only were good on blueray. Normal tv looked terrible with 3D and the glasses made my head spin on television mode. We found the Sharp 60inch LC-60LE630X tv to have more 3 dimensional depth than the 3D tvs instore. We have purchased this 6 months ago as well as a Panasonic blueray player and Yamaha home theatre system (see other deviews on these), and I feel like it has been a decent amount of time to review this. This tv is nicely slim lined, and has minimal border surrounds to keep your view at the screen. The remote is easy to use and the buttons once used for a week or so, tend to be in good positions for one handed use. The quality is sharp as the brand now speaks for itself. We have never owned a Sharp before and are very happy with its overall performance. The picture depth is fantastic, and seems to be almost 3Dish in its appearance. The abundant HDMI cables make hooking up all the extra goodies you have, to allow maximum performance with ease that even a non tech head can do (that is me), and USB port, plus the old scart cables along with the CO AX cables allows you to use the television with all its old and new co inhabitants. The only negative thing I have found so far, is the channel changes are very slow. But that is a small slightly irritating feature on a so flawless set. Its all there, just plug it in, hook it up to what you need, and its working straight away. It did come with a free Boxee internet player thatyou have to send away for, but I much prefer my laptop hooked into it to download movies and youtube, so Boxee never gets used in our home. picture quality and depth. remote control channel changes are quite slow.
