Terrible product. The company needs to be held accountable for their products IT IS POISON DO NOT RECOMMEND Show details
Not a good product at all. Had our 2 large dogs on simparica trio for quite a long time. But for some reason our dogs would get quite sick and go off their food for a few days to a week. This would happen every month and we never worked it out. Then we realised it was happening each month after giving them simparica trio. We do not recommend simparica. We now use nexgard spectra and have no more issues at all. Show details
TERRIBLE PRODUCT. My dog (maltese cross) lost weight following severe diarrheas and vomiting . Cost $250 at the vet. Because it covers a month we are not out of trouble yet. 1 month later after dosing and could be more vet visits.. Cost $1,200… Read more

Simparica killed my best friend, Jamocha! 2 weeks after giving the first dose my precious Shitzu had EVERY side effect, including going completely blind, which was not a side effect. 2 weeks after that he was sooo far off we had to put him down due to liver failure because of the pill. This product absolutely needs to be taken off the market!! My heart goes out to all the people who have lost their best friend because of this stupid pill! Show details
It’s been a year now, I still cry and I still miss my fur baby Jamocha, terribly!! He was sooooo… Read more
Laryngeal paralysis – My dog was given simparica while they gave her tick antivenom.. Now has laryngeal paralysis.. didn't have that with the tick and now personality has changed
Worthless – This product is a total waste of money, and a lot of money at that. After being on this oral treatment for two months, our dog has fleas. I had to spend a further amount to buy flea ahampoo treatment. Buyer beware. Show details
They killed my dog – Simparica killed my best companion Leo. First he showed neurological issues, walking funny, unsteady, staring at himself like something was on him. Then his liver messed up. The vets tried to help him but his organs were too far gone. I miss my sweet healthy dog terribly. Show details
Rubbish didn't work and my dogs HATED it – I tried this because it was on special and seemed to cover all the things I need in my dog from ticks and fleas to worms including heartworm. I got 4 chews, 3+1 free. I have two dogs, and neither dog would take the chew. I had to cut it up small in their food, even then it took sprinkling crushed treats into the meal to make them eat it. chew is really not, it's a hard pill. Very hard to crush, I can't imagine a small dog eating it. After all that it really doesn't work effectively. My dogs were scooting I think they had worms. I'm glad to see the last of this product, going back to a spot-on.
Made my dog sick – Terrible product. Please do not give this to your pet. It gave my cattle dog diahorrea and vomiting. I will never use it again. Show details
Useless didn't kill fleas – Waste of money. Both dogs hated the chews, I managed to get them down after crushing it up & hiding them in peanut butter. 3 days later the dogs still had fleas, another week later & still flea & itching?! Show details
TERRIBLE PRODUCT!! – Gave one chew to my dog as per the manufacturers instructions. First time user. My dog didn't like it, so I had to shove it down. Within a few hours, my dog was vomiting, refused to eat and was lethargic. Thankfully 3 days later his symptoms resolved. Would not use again and do not recommend. This product needs to be recalled. It's POISON!! Show details

DO NOT RECOMMEND – ***unpleasant photos attached*** My boy (mastiff x - 9 years 2 months) had an extreme reaction to the simparica trio chew tablets. Not even within 24hrs of giving him the tablet, he was pooing blood and vomiting. Wasn’t able to hold down any fluids without it coming out both ends to the point it was spraying out and blood dripping from his… Read more
bottom. He had uncontrollable convoluting and drunk 7L of water in 45 minutes. I had to rush him Into ER.
He had 4 rounds of IV and antibiotics, 1 round of anti nausea fluids and spent 48 hours @ the vet.
He’s still not 100%, weak, no energy, back hinds lagging, Diarrhoea, consistent sleeping and loss of appetite - 4 days later Total vet bill: $2300 Tablets: $160 Total out of pocket expensive: $2460 for a product that almost killed my dog.
I’m not one to over react or take my dogs to the vet on a regular basis but if I hadn’t got him into ER I sure as hell know my dog wouldn’t have made it through the night
Don’t use this product for your dogs! I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I went through on the weekend.

What a disappointment – I thought I would give Simparica trio a go. Much to my horror my dog was. scratching and I found fleas on him. My dog has never had a flea in his life. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I use Nexgaurd Spectra and have never had any issues . Simparica is useless and did not protect my dog against fleas Really disappointed with the product Show details
this made my 4yo Lab/Kelpie so sick – Diarrhea, absolute lethargy in this ball loving no stop dog, went to vet to get meds to stop the diarrhea, this last 3 weeks when she also had severe dandruff or skin flaking. Show details
Toxic poison – Gave this to my Pomeranian and she started having issues a couple of days after taking it. She was shaking as if she was scared, didn’t want to walk, eat or play at the beach. She kept trying to pass urine but nothing was coming out. Took her to the vets and she had blood in her urine. She was kept in for observation but didn’t come right for at… Read more
least two weeks. Heard lots of animals suffer long term issues with these poisons, and many don’t make it. Should be banned. Had neurological issues with our cat as well after taking flea/tick spot on, was advised to put him to sleep. Needless to say, we didn’t listen and no longer give him this rubbish.
