Coating peeling – Used it for a few months and only ever used plastic utensils on it yet the hard anodised coating has all come off and now have to spend more money! Show details

I have been using this for 5years now – I have been using this for 5years and I love them. As per my experience I never had problems in handling. The lid definitely gets hot but the silicone handle doesn’t. So you can lift the lid or the vessel carefully holding the handle only then no risk of burning. It’s light weight easy to clean. I have been using wooden spoon only so never had any problems with the coating. Coating is as good as new. Show details

Need to recall this product – What a dangerous set of saucepans the handles become extremely hot including the lids I have two burnt hands and very lucky the boiling water did not spill not suitable for any kitchen and very dangerous for the elderly even with a cloth. DO NOT PURCHASE! sMITH & nOBEL 5PC PLATINUM HARD ANODISED COOKSET.  Show details

Smith & Nobel stainless steel copper based cookware - poorly designed – The handles on all of the items in the cookware set - casserole, saucepans and lids, and steamer - all become too hot to hold. Very poorly designed. I am disappointed in this feature, as it was not a cheap set. As an older person, this is a major safety concern for me. Unfortunately you cannot tell until you try it, and then it is too late to return the goods.

Perfect cookware but without casserole pot – Casserole pot has not a safe not heating up handles. You don't know as long as you don't hold the handles and once you hold the handle you burn your hands. Lesson learned after first cooking in it. It's not a perfect casserole pot in the set of 8 pieces for $499.95. Expensive burn and painful too. I only hope that you don't have a child trying to touch the handle of this pot.
