Good Spare Room TV – I called this a good spare room TV because, although I like it, I am glad its not our main set. The picture is good but if you compare it directly with a Sony you can immediately see the dullness and colour separation are different. The overall design is good and the remote although a bit cheap looking, works fine. One area thats not good is the sound, so we have external speakers connected up. Its a good second TV and works well  Show details

Not bad! – We bought this tv for our sitting room and it has been a good little tv. Picture quality is fine as is the sound. We only bought it for simply watching tv, so we didn't want the features more expensive tvs have such as smart tv. Colour has been off on a few channels but can easily adjust that.  Show details

You get what you pay for – This tv is nothing impressive. Its picture quality is nothing to complain about. Its resolution is 1366x768p, but can output 1080p, for gaming or movie watching for example. The audio gets quite loud and serves me well. It has multiple HDMI ports and a USB port. This tv is good for bedrooms and small rooms, but probably not the main living room.… Read more

The tv is basic overall and the quality is expected for the price. Nothing is bad about it, but it doesn't excel at anything either.

Does everything for the price – I am happy with the picture quality. It has a native resolution of 1366x768p but does also output 1080p. I have had the product for more than 10 months and use it often. I use it with streaming netflix, playing PS4 and Browsing on the computer and it serves well for all of these uses. The speakers serve fine for movies, tv shows and gaming. They… Read more

can get very loud, but don't have too much depth/base to them. The tv has 3 HDMI ports, a VGA port and USB ports. It is a good price for the size. Only thing I don't like is the start up sound is loud when turning on, but might be able to be turned off in settings.

Nice for its price – A good quality TV, HDMI and enough inputs to do what you want. EPG and all the standards you would expect a modern TV to have, and it's a decent price too. We had to return the first one due to it making a high pitched ringing sound (most likely Coil Whine) when turned on, second one has the same issue but not as bad, I worry about how long it will last but it's held up for a few months now of occasional use as a 2nd PC monitor.  Show details

Avoid! Unsatisfactory, Poor Leg Design & Lack of Grip Contributed to TV Broken in < 2 weeks – My family was extremely excited when we could finally afford to purchase a flat screen television. After substantial research we opted for the Soniq 32" as advertised at JB Hi-Fi. Big mistake as we had only had the enjoyment of the device for near on two [2] weeks when it broke due to what we consider to be the contribution of poorly designed… Read more

feet & weakness in the legs. The television has two feet that bolt into the base of the screen & then split into two directions. Contrary to first impressions these legs are not solid & are in fact hollow leaving only a thin piece of plastic on either side for support. You would think that the entire base of these feet would be coated in slip proof rubber to provide suitable grip but this is not the case either. At best it seems that a tiny round spot of rubber is up inside the tip of the plastic hollow leg but this is not sticky & insufficient in size to allow for stability & grip. Unfortunately we found out the hard way when we went to move the television forward slightly so as to plug in a HDMI cable into the back. We had the television located on a large solid wooden & steel wall unit with ample space around it & nothing touching or interfering with its proximity. My husband was being suitable careful. What we didn't expect was that these cheap plastic hollow feet are very slippery & created without the benefit of total rubber grips. Needless to say even with just a slight movement being made with two hands the television slipped forward and landed face down. This did not get knocked hard and the screen didn't break, in fact didn't even have a scratch - despite this the television has since had half the screen pixelating in effect rendering the television completely useless.

If we had been acting incorrectly we would say so. But we didn't. Consumers should be able to move furniture trusting in the company to have produced a product that won't collapse at the slightest touch. However we have no doubt that these thin, cheap, plastic feet that totally without sufficient rubber grip are to blame and wish to warn others of this flaw in the Soniq 32" design.

We intend to feedback our concerns to the company directly but do not hold out any hope or expectation that they will generously replace our item. Meanwhile dear consumers, please be aware of this concern and we hope that it helps when factoring into your decision on which electronics company to buy from. Thank you for reading this review, we hope that it is beneficial.

Good quality low price – I bought this as my main tv mostly for watching dvds. It's very good value for money and user friendly. I haven't needed the instructions because it was self-explanatory which makes a nice change from some other brands which seem to thrive on confusion. Comes with a decent remote with large size buttons making it less likely to hit the wtong one. Overall very good.  Show details

Great quality TV, 1 minor problem – The picture quality of this tv is great, especially for the size. This item was bought on sale at JB Hi-Fi just under $300 so I think it's a great value. The only problem is with the remote, It's quite difficult to turn on/off, although that may be because it has fallen/it needs new batteries. Good product!  Show details

Basic but good product – I've had the TV for 9 months and it's working perfectly, good picture and sound. My only complaint would be that the Instruction Manual is next to useless as far as the operational explanations go. It provides a diagram of the remote control with a list of the buttons functions, which can be ascertained by looking at the remote! An online… Read more
