two into one connectors so I could connect the extra components I needed, so easy. The sound this system looks out is quite massive and pretty clear. I don't really think there's a need for two huge powered sub woofers, but what the heck, they blow you away. The surround sound performance is excellent and with a little bit of fiddling, it's not hard to work out how the system operates because as someone said, it's written in Japenglish and the translation leaves alot to the imagination. Mine is still going strong. I've just connected my xbox one to it via hdmi and optical cable so I can watch Netflix and also movies through the bluray and I have my TV connected through it the same way. This system was a great buy. It's huge, but that's exactly what I wanted.

Terrible – The sound that eminated from this unit was rather shallow and bouncy. The tweeters were non existant and the bass was rather dull. I really expected more but was shocked at just how poor this unit was, to top it off after a few weeks of use two of the speakers stopepd working completely and had to be taken back for repair. never buy Sony. Well there are none to be honest. Poor quality of design and finish. this was moulded paper mache and felt very thin and was only glued together. I was very dissapointed with the fir and finish for units costing this much. Came with almost useless instructions, which were in some sort of combined english-gibberish.

Excellent – You won't beat this system for the price. At only $999 when i purchased it was the best in its range. Two large active subwoofers matched with two large front speakers give incrediable sound, plus your added 3 speakers to make a great 6.2 surround sound experience. playing HDMI sound this can be a problem. Overall great system and would recommend to anyone. Great sound, 6.2 surround sound, easy set up, HDMI switching Not enough inputs - Toslink and digital audio, No Audio outputs for system expansion.

Good – This set up is great. The sound is really clear and loud. The surround speakers work really well. One problem with this set up is that the receiver doesn't match the speakers, it is silver but they are black. All up the set up is a pretty good off the self surround sound set up. The new version is a bit better because it comes with a black receiver and an extra surround speaker. Great sound, Very loud, great surround sound, looks fantastic The speakers are really big and are a bit too big for a small house, can be very complicated to set up

Terrible – I brought this but am taking it back asap, just not happy with it..... I brought from jb hi fi got it for 950 $ which was good... But taking it back... Goes Loud Too difficult to work out how to do everything...

the speakers and has class to them. very stylish , i dont hate it one bit i would never swap mine or sell it the amplifier is great has every option for movies ,music,live,theater,jazz,rock,pop,hall,concert,ect

Excellent – awesome sound system for the price, i dont know what the other comments are raving on about, maybe they dont know how to use it properly, or they have poor quality dvds or music. could be it awesome. goes loud without distorting or any speakers crackling there is nothing to dislike, looks good, sounds good. and im sure if i took the time to read the instructions properly i could work out how to use every feature
