a SAT Dish and Aurora DSD910 (another remote!).System componet incompatibility is partly self infliced but I thought The two Sony components would have been seamless. Not so.
I give it only four out of ten Easy setup once cabling for back speakers was in the wall. The front back balance worked just as the book said. Gives a good surround sound feel and can can be adjusted so that front source seems further away. Good for our small room. bass is very effective and non directional. Movies play great. FM stereo also good definition. Classical music sounds great. DVD movies overpowering! Also plays new digital radio reception from HD tuner very well. Difficulty in assigning inputs to the plasma TV screen. Tendency to hold onto DVD input selection when Set top box reselected. Sometimes have to power down and reselect.Spare buttons on remote only partly assigned to the DVD player and not at all to the HD tuner.
Now have four remotes on my coffee table but could almost manage with two.
