Just amazing – Sony HTM77. This thing is amazing. Stunning looks. Arguably best looking home theatre system on the market. Great for listing to music and watching movies with crisp clear Mids and highs and thumping bass from 2 *12 inch subs. I have also owned previous home theatre models from Sony and this one is just amazing. I bought it few years ago and it… Read more

still works great. When Sony launched it I read somewhere that Sony engineers made this system by doing lot of testing in a stadium somewhere in UK. And it looks like they did the right job. Everything is balanced on this unit and this system never distorts. This is extremely loud and volume goes all the way to 70 but above 45 you can hardly bear it. If playing loud (around 40 or 45) you can hear the bass few blocks down the road. I still love it as it is still going strong. Major plus on this one is that everything can be controlled via sony app. It has Bluetooth and NFC as well. Sadly Sony stopped making them. I hope Sony will bring them back someday.

Great system !! Great sound!!! – We bought it some days back. My kids absolutely love it. The other day we watched "the ice age" on it and our couch was literally shaking from the thumping sound. Best value for the money. I bought it from Sony Australia eBay store at almost half the normal RRP.  Show details

It's ok – I brought this system back in June 2014 when I saw it in the shop looked amazing but sadly I thought just did meet to expectations and after about a year of owning it, it started having a mind of its own it would automatically shut off sometimes while watching which got annoying and sometimes when it was switched off it would turn itself on.

Subwoofers – This unit was amazing for a month then the subwoofers for no reason just stopped working. I've gone through all the settings ect and can't remedy the problem. Without the subs it still has ok sound but you could get the same sound out of a micro stereo that's 1/3 of the price. I might be missing something please help
