I am upgrading my wifi to 5g with Voda. Without a USB dongle this model KDL-55RX630 won't connect to wifi. Will it connect to the 5g with ethernet?
Is there a particular selection I have to choose to make sound bar work? It is connected through HDMI cable. Does work but not from tv.
yes james there is a selection on the remote, the digital/analog button top left on the remote, when pressed will show all your accesory points, simply scroll down to one of the hdmi , i believe there is two, whichever your sound bar is connected, and then simply press ok /confirm button on remote, which is the button in the centre of the circle, in the centre of the remote, and your sound bar should work., cheers.
Can i download apps like netflix and prime video in this TV??
Not sure. It's not a smart TV but you can connect to the net through a dongle which is an accessory you have to pay for. But I run an Apple TV on it no problems.

sorry have never connected my tv through the net, not sure if it has that capability, a question for sony., but my son has his ps4 , connected to the net, and connected to the tv through a hdmi cable, and he can access everything, but only through the ps4 , . hope this helps.

Can it take wireless headfone's there is a port to put headfones but it does not take mine?
It has a 3.5mm headphone socket. If your wireless unit is different, you can get an adapter from Dick Smith's.
