I've recently bought a tv stand as we have moved house and can no longer use the wall mount. Each time i try to put the tv into the stand it topples over frontwards. The stand itself does not seem stable or like it could hold such large tv. I have a 55 inch Sony Bravia. Any hints?
Hi robyn Why dont you use the genuine stand that comes with TV?

You should give more details such as what colour is the light and do you mean its shutting down and power on? If so there is a chance of faulty board.
hello i purchased this tv in Nov 2015 and at that time there was no tv recording feature availble for about another 12 months. Since using this feature the last 6-8 months the tv goes haywire. it does not let me change HDMI function ie. record tv and play laptop/ps4. and then when it does record the next time the tv is turned on the screen remains black for minutes on end. I may get sound bu no picture. Often i have to restart ie. take plug out and wait 5 mins, then plug in and let it reboot. often this does not fix it straight away.
Still cant record tv and get a normal functioning tv afterwards.
i have done a full factory reset twice and whilst this world for a short time, say two week, then problem restarted and seemed to get worse.
I always do auto update as well.
Any clues to fixing this or is it kaput?

i do not understand your question, it supports freeview, but has issues with it with channel 7 and 9. i am currently in conversation with Sony over another issue this set has. again i cannot stress enough that this type of T.V is a complete lemon
how does this tv perform in gaming? i mostly want to use this tv for gaming.
Hi, we briefly connected it up to try the 3d First person shooter gaming, and it was good, but 55 inch is too big up close. The PS3 is back connected to a 40 inch.

You can only record and watch the one channel.I use an external hard drive and 32gb usb to record shows.

Sorry, I can't remember what the difference was. Look it up on the sony website and compare the products. Ours was the smallest one you could get in 100hz. Ta.
