Stan Sport

This company ripped me off for 6 months charging me twice and wouldn't cancel my subscription so I had to cancel my credit card.... delete this subscription and let's send them broke...

Forced to watch up to 7 mins of ads at halftime when watching super rugby replays, then second half starts 7 or so minutes into halftime and have to rewind to watch the skipped portion, paired with subscription increases. NOT happy Jan…!

Couldn’t get Rugby live for over a week. Tried all recommended fixes to no avail. Contacted Stan support and the famous Pele came to the rescue. Was as good as his namesake. Back up and running. Thanks heaps Pele!

For 20 dollars a month there should be -0 glitches and play back issues to watch sport. The one expectation when watching a game is to watch it in real time and they can't get that right. Do better

Nottingham Forest vs Brentford game were shown ruining the replay value. Min games on replay are watchable. I don't see the point of an "Australian broadcast". An disappointing start.

Nothing better than having my email platform, which is jam packed with jib interview related material, educational material for work get even more clogged up with another vendor telling me to write a review about the service I received. Um gee wiz.

More importantly Stan's viewing platform is extremely cumbersome and not very user friendly. There is a massive difference (especially when watching sport between a platform where you just click on the screen and the action is paused rather than the really really annoying having ti activate the mouse and get it into position ti click on the smallish 'Pause' icon before it disappears.

Worse than that. Far worse is that every single rugby and soccer game I watch has an inactive 'Skiip Intro' and 'Skip Halftime' button. You can always click the Skip Intro button a thousand times for any game in any sport and get absolutely No Result. Hitting 'Skip Halftime' does nothing and then using that slide from screen to screen function only ever land you as far as you can go, which is always some locked up ad screen saying coverage will resume in about 3 minutes and 34 seconds.

Poor quality streaming – Just signed up for Stan sports to watch Olympics coverage. It's the day before the opening ceremony so demand can't be high, but already videos are not loading, those that are keep freezing. your systems. And we have multiple streaming services and have very good streaming service, so I'm sure it's not our connection. Update. Day 1, non stop error especially when we hit prime time. Various errors which their support page tries to blame on my modem, TV and internet connection, despite the fact everything else is working fine. Even when a stream loads it regularly stops with the spinning wheel of doom. Update I'm upgrading to 4 stars. Streaming has improved, I suspect they added more capacity over the first few days.Occasionally steam continues on low resolution for some time, but otherwise minimal errors. Errors still most likely during prime time, suggestion or is a capacity issue on their side.

I'm a very fortunate and satisfied customer due to the positive customer service skills of Ken (Stan support). The gentleman had extensive Product knowledge with empathy and rapport. Displayed kind and patient listening skills. Turned my previous discontent into super satisfaction. Stan itself benefits immensely by employees of Kens efficiency and calibre.

Mixup with my dates for subs..cant thank Angus at STAN /SPORTS enough.. solved immediately no fuss. I am grateful and so impressed with your efficiency with the correction Angus. Thank you very much.

I received an email purportedly from Stan offering a Thredbo winter holiday and referred it to Stan asking if this was a scam - Inhad a rapid response from Ben advising it was in fact genuine.

Stan is an over priced heap of trash streaming platform that has a terrible selection of both series and films and their sports streaming services are freaking terrible. Always freezing, lagging and buffing. I would never ever ever recommend using Stan.

I usually get Stan Sport for the Tennis and was surprised to see advertising as I wasn't aware that Stan had decided to introduce ads on a subscription. distinguish between the 4K and HD matches. Usually I can see the difference but not for the 2026 Australian Open. Previously the PQ Quality has been excellent but certainly not blown away this time around. Not worth having, unfortunately

How long is Stan's contract for the epl? Sick of spoilers and ads and in screen cuts of other match's during live matches Are people getting paid to ruin people's enjoyment when they know the score before A replay, thinking of getting a VPN ,

Prompt service and response from Ken and Emma - took several emails however to reset password to sort problem of not being able to access STAN account on larger screen smart TV (was still accessible on ipad and iMac) and having account for neighbour come up on screen. Show reply

Every 2 to 3 minutes it stops, skips then continues, never happened under optus and I have since upgraded internet and it still does it despite checks speed is better. Half the time the epl preview is up late as well.

Issue is I get logged out of Stan multiple times daily on my only TV. Its a clunky process to login and u need yr phone etc. I hate it and now hate Stan because of it. Also if you pause a show ie to answer a call etc it often throws you out ie cannot restart where you left off. Sent an email for help... nothing. I got their contact number.... its disconnected. Its a joke

I had an issue with logging into to my Stan Sport. I was transferred from Optus Sport to Stan in Oct25. I was originally set up with an old email address which caused some issues and added to the complexity of resolving my login problems. I’ve watched the All Blacks replays the last two weekends and Stan has put in forced ads on sporting replays that get longer after each break. Before kick off I was forced to watch 2 minutes of ads, at haft time 3 minutes of ads and at full time 3 1/2 minutes of ads. I had issues with my wifi for one of the games(which is not stans fault) but each time my connection dropped out I was then forced again and again to watch the same ads pointing out I am paying for this service.

And when I reached out to stan they simply said they have introduced ads from July.

Also the fact that Stan put their fees up as soon as they started streaming the EPL without an option or even contact about the fee increase is a sign of a poorly run business only focused on profits.

I’ll be cancelling.

investigated. Internet speed is fine, they blame my TV and tell me to use my computer instead but the live coverage lags on that too Customer service is a joke. They tell me if I'm not happy then I should unsubscribe but it's the only way to watch the Premier League in Australia. Appalling. I've.reported them to Fair Trading and they also got the same reply as I've been getting So if anyone else has this problem, the consumer is screwed I'm afraid

These guys are useless. Editing is pathetic. Worst of all, when I select "start over" on a sport game they play the live version which reveals the scores. Either get it right or leave it to Optus who were doing a 10/10, 5 star job.
