Should be illegal – Handles conduct heat meaning you need to wear gloves or risk burns. Handles are too heavy and the smaller pans empty won't sit on the stove without tipping over.... with hot handles... also leading to burns. Show details

Stanley Rogers non stick frying pan a month ago (April 2019) – Bought a 32" non stick frying pan a month ago (April 2019) and even during first use, it was very poor at non stick, so give this one a big miss. It looks like it does, but it doesn't. Cheaper ones do a better job. Show details

Stanley Rogers Techtonic 3 pot set – Heavy pot set. No problems with sitting unevenly on cook top but did experience all 3 non-stick coatings peeling into food. No hot handle problems that I recall and liked that pots with oven safe handles. Was ready to throw them out last week (sitting at the back of the pot cupboard for years now), then remembered that they have a life time… Read more

guarantee by Stanley Rogers. Emailed company and the set will be replaced with all they could be replaced with - 2 newer pots in a different series. So lost a pot. Not sure Stanley Rogers follows up with its guarantees...now a pot short. Awaiting replacements at time of review. No idea what quality they will be either. Expensive items for these kinds of problems.

Hazardous! – These products should be banned. Not only do the handles conduct the heat and get so hot you end up with very serious burns, but the Teflon coating flakes away after a short period of very careful use (no metal utensils and gentle hand wash). Not to mention the pans don't actually sit on the stovetop - the handles are so heavy they fall backwards spilling the contents everywhere. Incredibly dangerous rubbish product. Avoid at all costs.  Show details

Good customer service – I was lucky enough to win a set of these saucepans. The small one started to peel after 9 months and I contacted company who requested photographs of saucepan and damage. Contacted me back the same day with offer of a replacement saucepan. It did not match my set exactly as product has changed but I don't think that really mattered. I found them very helpful.

Too dangerous to even care if it cooks well – I ordered this cookset over the Internet and therefore missed the small warning that the handles get very hot and the recommendation to ALWAYS use an oven mitt when handling. Now I have a cookware set that may cook beautifully for all I know, but if I am simmering or boiling anything, the handles get dangerously hot, and in the midst of a frantic… Read more

cooking prep it is just too easy to grasp a handle out of instinct. My husband refuses to use them, and now I will only use them if I am cooking something that requires low temperatures only, and nothing too liquidy . Seriously, I'm not sure how these got past a product test, and I hope nobody is badly injured using this unsafe cookset.

Very disappointed – I purchased the entire set when they had a good deal and was so excited to use. Once received I was happy to feel the heaviness of the cookware as it felt sturdy and of great quality. However when I started to cook either with saucepan or frypan I came to realise the handles were so much heavier than the saucepans therefore tipping over. I've had… Read more

many close calls in food and whole thing toppling over and in order to salvage food contents I would grab handle and at same time burn my hand from metal handles overheating. This is done spontaneously and not thinking hadle is as hot as frypan. I didn't blister but I had to stick my hand in cold water or icebox to relieve pain. I was shocked! As other Teflon or cheaper pans from Coles never did this.So I say to people reading hold out , do not buy it's not worth it. Dangerous cookware . Should have A warning and " BEWARE" label.

I don't even let my kids(16/13y) to boil an egg as I'm afraid it will topple over) and they'll forget handle is hot.

I hold handle with tea towels as I cook and don't let go till I'm done.

Frustrating!

When purchasing Teflon cookware in future I will be asking all the right questions. Purchased on Internet.

Thanks for reading

Stefanie

Bowed bottoms – Unlike everyone else I've had no issue with flaking Teflon or issues with the handle. I've had my set for 15 months now. My issue is that the pans aren't flat on the bottom, thus the centre is the only point that had direct contact with the element. This isn't the case with with pots or skillet. The problem is worsened by the weight on the handle which tips the pan over to one side. Got a great deal at the time but wouldn't but again.

Paying for the name, not quality – I wasn't going to bother writing a review as I would only be repeating what everyone else has already said. Then I though I might as well in the hope the manufacturer actually reads these! I've had heaps of cheaper non-stick frying pans, only for food to start sticking after a few weeks. So I figured I'd get a decent name brand. Hmmm. Won't be… Read more

doing that again. Surface was great to start with, but as per the cheaper ones, food is starting to stick. But that's not really all that concerning to me.

Since I started using this frying pan, I've had at least 2 fairly serious burns from the handle. Not quite bad enough for a hospital visit, but luckily I had burn creams. Whoever designed these should be shot. The handles heat up as hot as the pan itself. If you're not concentrating enough, you end up grabbing the handle, as you would with a cheaper one without thinking. And if you accidentally knock the pan while trying to scrape off the food that's starting to stick, you instinctively grab the handle to reposition the pan, or to just stop it falling off completely. By then, it's too late and you have already received serious burns. This should be grounds for a recall. I'll just stick with the $20 Coles frying pans, and keep replacing them every few weeks. Still works out cheaper... and safer.

great service ok product – Have had my set for nearly a yr and the only problem i have had is the fry pan / saute pan has started blistering and flaking. I did some research after our family started having tummy issues and the only common factor was us all eating dinner after i had cooked with the pan. so rang the number provided below explained that i had some feedback and… Read more

that i was upset that i had the pan for less then a yr- was a gift so i have nothing as far as warranty goes and that the pan is blistering and flaking. i spoke to "Rachael " who promptly asked me to take a photo and said she would send out a new one as she profusely apologised for those having problems i have put details below. hopefully might help some people avoid eating non-stick flakes and have gastro issues like us :)

50/50 good and bad – I purchased 2 of these from HS, a 20cm pan and a 30cm saute pan with glass lid. I loved it at first. I still love the way it cooks. It browns meat wonderfully, my expensive Baccarat pan just seems to stew food rather than giving it any kind of a crust or brown surface. The handle never bothered me, I just used an oven mitt to pick it up. I got… Read more

12 months out of my saute pan before the finish blistered and bubbled and got sticky area's. Stanley Rogers happily replaced it for me with a brand new one but 12 months later this one has done the same and in between the small one did it too. When I place it on the bench it's all buckled and spins around and warped which is why it never sat on my stovetop properly. Emailing the company I heard nothing this time. It's supposed to come with a lifetime guarantee.

While I owned it it never went in the oven (it's safe to use in one), the heat was never turned up under it above half way and they were hand washed with a soft cloth and dried immediately. They certainly weren't mistreated in any way and I did expect a longer life for the money they cost.

I have yet to find a frying pan that browns as beautifully though and I miss it a lot.

My pan has been great?? – I've had the saute pan for a couple of years now and love it. Yes the handle can get hot because it is metal, but it is a long one that is fine unless you hold it near the base - metal is good because it allows you to put it under the grill. I was after a couple of other pans so thought I'd check it out here, and am surprised at the bad reviews. Very strange too that many are from people reviewing for the first time??

Should have read the reviews before I purchased one – I just ordered one of these for delivery and it arrived damaged - meaning that the surface is as fragile as glass (or they are faulty before coming out of the box - either way, that's BAD). Now i've got burns from handles and lifting surfaces to look forward to

Non stick lifting! – My fiancee bought a set of these 4 yrs ago. I have burnt my hand on occasion and all the non-stick is lifting where we stir with wooden or plastic spoons! We are throwing them in the bin, it has put us off non-stick altogether now. They are not recommended.

Don't waste your money! – These are the worst pots I have ever used! Constantly burning my hands on the handles, and having the food tipping out of the pan is a consistent worry! I spent over $400 dollars on this set and am highly disappointed with them. Stanley Rodgers should refund the poor people who have purchased this set as it is a hazard in the kitchen. Waste of money & danger to use.

Horrid waste of money – Terrible product- poorly weighted, handles heat up. A dangerous combination. I've had a number of burns saving the pots from tipping over on the stove. Fry pan is no longer 'non stick'- trying to get burnt on marinade off is an absolute nightmare. Pan is now scratched to hell and needs to be replaced Size Handles heat up, poor quality non-stick,

Causes burns – Accidentally gripped handle with right hand and caused burns all on palm of hand - VERY DANGEROUS! Burn is now blistered and I can't write, drive or work out. Good surface to cook on but troublesome and NEED SILICON HANDLE COVERS!! Will never buy this style of pans ever again. Surface CAUSES BURNS

Dangerous product – These pans are definately dangerous, handles are too heavy for pans and they tip over, worse than useless. They should definately be removed from the market. I have had a few close calls with them. Do not use them!! Handles and lids both get very hot very quickly, I have nothing positive to say about thus product. Everything

Design Fault/techtonic Range – The handles are unsafe. At the pot end of the hollow handle is an open area which allows the heat to enter . The heat travels through the handle and becomes too hot to touch. We have had several mishaps due to the handles being dangerously hot, and intend to replace the set of cookware as soon as finances allow. Unsafe
