Waste of hard earned money – Just like the previous reviewer I agree that it does not massage only a slight vibration. I have the new version that heats up....this is pleasant, but as it is my first day I will wait and see if this is beneficial. I think that a warm towel or hot water bottle would do the same job.

.... just an update to my previous review. The new one is equally as bad. Save your money, buyer beware!

Can you explain what this would achieve?

Terrible – Every product has inherent flaws, whether by design to reduce production cost or by lack of foresight; what distinguishes a good purchase from a bad one, often comes down to the product support or the user serviceability...this product is NOT user friendly, and Sunbeam (at least in this case) is not consumer friendly. I'd advise you to scrutinize the product for improvements to these problems before you consider buying. Whatever pros it has, are superceded by the overwhelming con. Let me caveat this by saying that I actually have the earlier version, without heat. But if the basic design is still the same, avoid this product at all costs. The lower massaging knobs free float on springs and rely on the tension of the covering material to retain them; so, if you get up quickly, the elastic material will expand and the knob(s)tend to fall off, frequently, and lodge in the mechanism. Then, to access the inside to fix it, you have to go through ridiculous tactile gymnastics because the zippers are inserted backwards (the tabs face the inside, so they do not slide open or closed as designed). To top it all off, when I called Sunbeam-NZ to ask about a fix for these problems, I was told that this was an extremely popular model and basically I was an idiot. OK, fair enough...But I am actually a Rocket Scientist...no really, I took an advanced degree in Space Studies with a heavy basis in Rocket design and propulsion...I'm hardly an idiot. So you, the consumer, decide for yourselves.
