An awful product – An awful product. The thermostat didn't work properly and disengaging the wok from the base is almost impossible. The previous version of this product was great. Unfortunately the current version is a dud. Show details

Love my wok! – Heats up so fast and the heat is really evenly distributed. Pretty easy to clean. I’ve had fun creating really yummy noodle dishes. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others

Works Very Well – A really great sized large pan! Heats up very fast and does Stir Fry really well. My only concern is that I can already see marks in the Wok Pan only after a few uses. I don't know what they are and they will not come off. I hope the pan will last but I fear it may not from all the comments I have read here.  Show details

Great Cooking but Teflon Let down! – I have bought 5 of these woks now, the Teflon only last between 6 to 8 months max. Why did i buy so many you ask? The cooking in this wok is great but the Teflon quickly wears out and starts to flake off, i have always used typically non-stick plastic or wooden utensils on this product as instructed but this hasn't helped. Also there is also no… Read more

way to keep items warm in this product without it burning the bottom of the food even on the lowest setting. I unfortunately will not be buying this product again, throwing away an electrical item within this period seems insane, especially five of them, not to mention the unit still is working fine but not being able to use anymore because of the Teflon issue. I will now have to resort to another brand and disappointed.

A good compromise – Not as good as gas but a very good electric choice. A bit clunky when cooking as you can't realistically move the wok around, but the sides stay hot and the food cooks well. It does what it advertises extremely well.

A Good Wok – Whilst no electric device can equal gas for quick temperature control this wok goes very close. I use it every week and my last dish of chillie crab got a rave revue. I'm more than happy with this model Sunbeam wok which is superior to the last model.

Fantastic tool, but – I just love this wok. Use mainly for soups, slow cooking bolognaise, etc. rather than stir fries. But, the surface coating has deteriorated so badly I will have to throw the wok away because it is no longer safe to use. Great pity, because there's nothing else wrong with it. Wonderful utensil, often used instead of cooking in oven. Surface coating deteriorated so badly, the wok is unusable.
