It does record 365 day, false advertising – 8 channels 6 Camera it does record 365 days if you have 6 camera on, if you have 1 camera on then only up to 6 months. I'm use low quality resolution. Bought camera 2 months ago now it's discontinue

Terrible Won't Work With A Laptop Connection – Bought this system and spent all day mounting cameras. NO router or modem. They don't tell you that in the instructions though.

NOW----I have to spend 3 hours and remove everything and take this POS setup back to where I bought it from. Damn

Great product-Great support – I just set up my third system. With the help of Swann support, they all work great. The software is easy to navigate and the cameras are easy to set up. I use both indoor and outdoor. Cold and heat do not interfere with performance.

Swann security AGAIN, please note ALL the discontinued products. Tells me something, zero updates & – Please DO NOT EVER purchase Swann Products, it is similar to LG Products. Would not surprise me if they were both a subsidiary of each other !!! Not the quality i expected – This is the second Swann security systen i have purchased. My first system lasted 2 years before problems started with cameras. I needed 6 cameras rather than 4 this time and this security system is mid priced in the range. case.The vision is dark and not clear crisp picture quality i expected. I have had to use 2 cameras in one space for this reason.There is no information booklet with this system instead Swann gives u 3 small leaflets .There is no information on how to contact Swann for support. My previous camera system did come with all of the above and it was excellent when learning about the features and troubleshooting yourself etc.

I can only add if its actual security you need as in if you need vision for the unfortunate events you need police or insurance involved this is not the system for you.Installation is timely and you will need at least 2 people to install correctly. I found the dome cameras to be frustrating putting in compared to bullet cameras.This is because they come in 4 seperate parts.In hindsight i would have spent more money on a better quality camera.

FOLLOW UP 15/09/17

2 cameras are faulty having a very difficult time getting them replaced as only purchased a month ago! Swann support is overseas and major communication difficulties. I will be without 2 cameras if Swann ageee to fix or replace for up to 8 weeks.Not happy
