Perfection ! – In November 2022 we received 2 replacement cooking utensils from Swiss Diamond under warranty. The warranty process was demanding, but I guess they have to protect themselves too. I had to produce proof of purchase for both items, as well as take numerous photos from different angles and measurements of the casserole dish and the small pot. It's very important to note that they were the older type with the grey coating, which had started to peel quite significantly within the warranty period. The new ones have almost a black coating (internal and external) and we could not be more pleased with them. The new ones are called the XD range. I have deliberately waited until now to do my review so they would get tested over time in the kitchen. I have never had cookware which cleans so easily, not that we burn milk or any of the other scenarios you might see in the ads. for non stick cookware. They just wipe clean with a dish cloth if the food is still just a little damp. If there is dried on gravy or anything similar, I just use a medium softness bristle brush which does the job easily and will not damage the surface. We do not place them in the dishwasher, but nor did we do that with the original set, in fact they were treated with "kid gloves" but still did not last. They only ever saw a wooden or silicone spoon or stirrer, as have the new ones. The new XD utensils are a treat to use and to clean. They heat quickly and evenly, and the handles are very sturdy without being cumbersome. They also stay quite cool to the touch during cooking which is important. Both utensils have the steam outlet type of lids which is another great feature, just turn the knob at the base of the lid handle and it's done, excess steam escapes.. All the surfaces of these utensils are well finished and quite smooth to the touch. Although these products are comparatively expensive, they are fantastic to use and I expect them to last for many years. Someone once said to me, "Buy the best quality you can afford at the time" and here is a shining example of the many benefits of doing just that.

Nonstick excellence - a beautiful little frypan – This Swiss Diamond nonstick frypan is a joy to use. With a diameter of 18cm, it's the right size for omelettes, scrambled eggs, salmon, and for many other things - but what's most impressive about this is that it truly, truly works. Swiss Diamond cookware is justly famous, and the diamond reinforced XD-coating is unique in nonstick cookware. It's made of pressure-cast aluminium (which means it's not going to warp, and the heat is distributed very evenly), with plasma-deposited diamond layer (real diamonds) to protect the food from the aluminium, and then three layers of PFOA-free patented nonstick coating reinforced by diamonds. The handles are rivet-free and very comfortable to use.
Gentle heat is recommended for this; the heat is so efficiently distributed that a higher temperature isn't needed. It works beautifully for oil-free cooking or just using a little olive oil. The results? Wonderful.
This beautiful little frypan has been used almost every day since it was initially purchased in 2016, and it's still as pristine and perfect as the day it was bought. It's carefully washed by hand after use, and then paper towel is used to dry its interior in particular. We store this as suggested by Swiss Diamond - a sheet of paper towel underneath and another sheet of paper towel in the frypan itself, with no other cookware sitting in this.
I have tried several different brands of nonstick cookware, but frankly, no other comes close to the efficiency and quality of the Swiss Diamond range.
