Unit efficiency

During spring, summer & autumn it was ok but winter is a total failure. I was assured by the retailer that it would meet my needs IE heating in a very cold climate. Not so, I got rid of my gas fire as it was too expensive to use (i am on bottled gas) What a mistake, the unit is useless for heating.

Purchased in August 2019 at Betta Home Living for $800.00.

Effective but a bit industrial

The unit moves a lot of air and can hold its own against Sydney summer (or winter) in my 1950s, poorly insulated house. So it's effective. It's 1yo now and has been reliable. It has two down sides, firstly the thermostat is fairly vague; it doesn't accurately hold it to a specific temperature. The other is that when cutting in and out it makes a quite loud noise as the compressor starts, and this is in my bedroom. It's loud enough to wake someone up, at least until you get used to it.

All in all, does the job, wasn't too expensive, I'm happy with it.

Cooling is bit noise

Cooling is bit noise. When cooling is turning on, I can have a phone call under the machine. It is bit noise. Heating is OK. Considering it is pretty cheap. It is acceptable for this price.

The remote controller is very nice and easy to use. I would recommend this product if your budget is around 500-600.
