Bad pans, bad quoting, bad for health – Tefal products are useless. I bought several very expensive sets of Tefal cookware for my family and friends. All hate those because the coating has started fading only in few months. I even bought their most expensive cookware called expertise but useless. Tefal, never again ! And these are health hazards as the quoting keeps getting into the food. Do yourself a favor avoid nonstick pans for the sake of your health Show details

Worst pan ever!!!! – I purchased the tefal 32cm non-stick frying pan approximately 6mths a go and it is the worst pan I've ever spent money on ($120 from Kitchen Warehouse). The pan has only last 6mths, it's no longer non-stick. Even if using oil, food still sticks to it. I've cared for this pan as per the instructions, it bever went in a dishwasher and heat was kept… Read more

to medium to low and it still didn't last. I've purchased cheaper pans in the past that lasted longer then this pan did. I'll never buy a tefal product again.

Excellent pans, non stick, easy to clean – We bought 2 pans that were on sale at Myer, 50% off. Followed instructions as mentioned below by very hungry caterpillar. Been 6 months and no problems at all. As long as you don't overheat or scratch it with metal utensils it should stay non stick. I put a smear of oil before each use and make sure to clean with sponge side of scourer cloth, not hard side. These are the first pans we've owned that have stayed non stick.  Show reply

Tefal frypan – I bought this as a replacement for a failed Stonedine Frypan. After numerous meals and using the product every day since purchase i would have to say it is the best piece of cookware that i own. Light, easy to clean and a joy to cook with, this has convinced me to purchase the whole set. Thoroughly recommended. Light weight, efficent, effective, easy to clean. It would have been better as a deeper pan. Show 3 replies

Bougt two , they both are terrible. T-fal will not stand behind the product – I purchased two T-fal large non-stick skillets and they both are terrible. Coating flaking off after short usage. Reached out to t-fal and they said due to over heating they couldn't do anything. I can say I never over heated he skillets. T-fal and their skillets suck--thats all I can say !! Show details

Worst peice of cooking appliance ever – Took it out of the box and it didnt work. Tried twice. First got CODE 24 then CODE 21. The response from Tefal was "sorry to hear that. Error 24 is often a user or recipe issue rather than the machine, although you do get duds in any brand. Hope you enjoy your Breville." Wow. Wont accept responsibility for tgeir product malfunctioning. These code errors are common with Tefal cook4me if you google. Show details

Absolute rubbish! – After a few months the non stick became nothing more than sticky glue. All the promises of life time warranty have very little meaning other than a marketing sales pitch. You will get away with cooking anything that is not overly sticky but things like pancakes are a complete waste even when lathered in butter or oil spray. Show details

Thermo Pan not worth the money! – Received this as a gift and after 11 months the thermal spot disappeared. Dont bother contacting customer service, they are completely unhelpful. They are just an overseas call centre. Spoke to the manager and Tina had no customer service, she just quotes the warranty which is really what ever they decide works for them. horrible quality – don't believe those commercial ads telling you that Tefal frying pan is the best. NOOOOOOOOOT~!!!!! It's the worst frying pan I purchased in ages. Only the bottom part is non-sticky, the side of Tefal frying pan would stick anything and turn it black straight away. The handle turns super hot after short time of cook and burnt my hand once. It's in the bin now. Worst quality frying pan---tefal Show details

No response from Customer Service – Following my fist contact with Tefal, to request a replacement part for the Steamer, I was referred to a local repair service. I contacted the local service, who requested I email the request with pictures, which I did. After no response to several follow ups with this local service, I had no other recourse but to revert back to Tefal CS,… Read more

requesting resolution. Once again after several email follow ups requesting assistance and resolution, I have NOT had the courtesy of a response, lets alone resolution. It is difficult, if not impossible, to understand how Tefal makes such high end items, as with the iron steamer, but totally fails with its CS! Very disappointed, is an understatement.

Awful! Wok lid leaching metallic substance – The lid to their wok has a metallic coloured band around the inside. After a few uses I discovered the metallic coating was leaching off the lid and into food, causing the food to appear metallic. I called Tefal and they called the lid an accessory and there’s nothing they could do. The lid isn’t an accessory, it comes with the wok! I notice… Read more

Terrible pan and service. Never buy any of their products – The pan is under 2 years warranty but in less than a year it resulted significantly worse than the initial couple months. The customer relation team suggested me "to use an ample amount of cooking oil (never in the form of sprays)'. When I attempted to claim this terrible coating, she said "the ceramic coated products unfortunately have non-existent non-stick properties. I can advise the use of olive oil to assist in this issue."  Show details

I wish I could give 0 stars! – Bought a wok with a glass lid, within a few weeks the lid shattered into tiny pieces whilst cooking - ruined $40 worth of ingredients, and was quite dangerous as well with tiny glass fragments all over my kitchen. Slow induction performance – I purchased two Jamie Oliver Tefal Hard Anodized "Induction" pots. I am really disappointed with how slow they take to reach any form of boiling point on my Miele induction hob. Waste of money!!!!! – Unfortunately i wasted almost $200.00 on three pans that were supposed to be great and wonderful; endorsed (apparently) by Jamie Oliver. The first couple of cooks were a delight but then the food began sticking to the pans. The red 'heat indicator' never ever did what it was supposed to do. Not once did it change colour -except to turn black. This is the WORST cookware i have ever used. It is a COMPLETE AND UTTER WASTE OF MONEY.  Show details

Oven glass shattered into pieces – I bought a Tefal oven a year ago and used it once for trial. Thereafter it sat pretty on my kitchen top. Today as I passed by the oven, the outer glass shattered into pieces suddenly. I was not using it at all. No heating. When I complained, I was asked to pay close to $200 for a replacement of the glass. Lousy brand. Don't buy TEFAL brand.  Show details

Very Disappointed – Bought tefal excellence 5 piece set in Nov. Within 3 months frypan coating started peeling off. Same thing is gradually happening with saucepans as well. Non stick coating peeling – I bough a tefal heritage 5 piece set plus a pro selection induction GV4 fry pan almost 2 years ago (27/12/14). Recommended retail price of $780. recommendations. I've never used Metal utensils, stacked the pans or overheated them. I have always cleaned them by soaking in warm water and wiping clean with a cloth. These pans were very well looked after. My hesitation in contacting the company comes from the experience I've read about, regarding the customer service from Tefal on these, and other reviews.

$780 (6 pieces) Pots and pans should last a lot longer than 2 years. I won't buy Tefal again.

After 2 years, rusty-brown stains appearing and food sticking to the bottom – Just a little over two years ago (I made my purchase on 11/6/14), I bought a Tefal - Jamie Oliver Anodised Induction Wok w/Lid 32cm. I was happy with it until just a month or so ago, when brownish-reddish rust-like stains seemed to appear on the bottom, and it was impossible to remove them. (At first I took these stains to be food stains, but now,… Read more

in light of the fact that food is now sticking to the bottom of the wok, I think it must be that the nonstick coating is simply going.)

I have always used this wok on low temperatures on the gas top, and always washed in soapy water using only a non-abrasive cloth. I have seasoned the wok several times.

There's also a grill pan (also Tefal) that I purchased around the same time, about which I am now having the gravest doubts. Salmon has been sticking to the grill surface, again in spite of great care in its use.

(Two other Tefal items of cookware are not giving me any concern at this point - saucepan and frying pan - but I can't help now feeling dubious and nervous about the entire range.)

No one could have been more careful in using this cookware. I can't help thinking I should have chosen Swiss Diamond. Disappointed.

Stay away – I bought a 14 piece set in May and it's the biggest mistake I ever made with cookware. Not only is it not nonstick it also leaves stains that you can't remove. I called the manufacturer and they told me that I have to go through a ridiculous multitute of steps to prevent this. I did at the end but still couldn't avoid it .So why are the saying non stick. At the end the warranty said it was my fault really .People please stay away .  Show details

My only frypan is a tefal! – Tefal Frypan 30cm. Didn't want too big.Had bigger frypans before and found they were too difficult to clean and wouldnt fit properly in the sink! Its big enough for pancakes, hamburgers, every day cooking. It heats up real quick and keeps its temp for a long time. What I like most is nothing sticks to it and cleaning is so easy.Remember to wash it… Read more

Tefal frypans – Purchased my Tefal frypans 4 years ago including the crepe pan and the set is still going very wel for me. It has very even heat distribution, they are not too heavy to handle or wash. Durable surface. Excellent value. I have tried frypans of various brands such as Scanpan, Gordon Ramsay and Tefal brands, Tefal wins on every front. very reasonable price and excellent quality

fat and low cost. Never add cool water to hot pans it reduces the nonstick qualities.

Use a wet sponge to clean the pans. Never use soap liquid. 1. Easy to clean

2. No oil required (if you use medium heat)

3. Easy to notice when the pan is heated enough

4. Protects food flavours If you drop it on the floor the product may chip

None other than Tefal – We've purchased and have been using this set for our cooking classes for a few months now.
