Takes for ever and then quickly overheats – I have found the product takes quite a few minutes to heat the bottle and if you aren’t a magician and know the exact second to take the bottle off it overheats quickly which is a disaster for breastmilk. It has features 1,2 & 3 but even the instructions tell you options 1 & 2 are not to be used and it recommends 3 for all uses - so why even have… Read more

options 1 & 2? I’m sure like most people the idea of a bottle warmer would be to bring something to a certain temp and maintain that temp, not boil the bottle if you are trying to console a crying baby, or accidentally fall asleep in the middle of the middle of the night for a few minutes.

Perfect little matchine – Very handy and useful item i have two of them one in my kitchen and one upstairs next to my bed. It is quick and easy to use just pop in bottle and within minutes bottle will be ready. This is very useful for nighttime feedings. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for bottle warmers.

Really annoying – I got this in a pack with some bottles and sterilizer. The sterilizer has been great but the bottle warmer not so much. It takes a long time to heat the bottle, which becomes more annoying as your baby grows older and the time frame to warm up a bottle increases. Waiting 8 minutes for a bottle to heat whilst your baby is crying isn't fun. And then… Read more

if something goes wrong with that bottle and you then have to heat another one... well that can drive you to breaking point as your baby can't wait over 16 minutes for a bottle

I've also noticed that the instructions tell you to fill the warmer to 1cm below the top of the warmer. The results in water spilling everywhere when the water boils, which is so annoying as you then need to clean up after the bottle warmer.

When doing bottles we now heat them in the microwave for 60 seconds and then add the formula powder. The bottle isn't boiling hot, the formula isn't compromised and it is so much quicker to prepare a bottle.

Inferior product – Yes, it warms bottles. But it lacks the features you would want/need. There is no timer, so you must set one so that you don't overheat the bottle--I use the one on my microwave. It does not turn off automatically when you remove the bottle--so in your hurry to get your baby fed, you may accidentally leave it on and have all the water evaporate… Read more

and the warmer running dry. There is no light to indicate that it is on, should you have forgotten to shut it of as your baby was crying for her bottle. There is a light that flickers on and off, assume it is to let you know when the heating element kicks on. There are three settings, the lowest to keep a bottle warm--it barely warms the water, so certainly does no good at all.

Get a different brand--most of them have those features--I would not buy this again if I knew it was so basic.

Waste of money – Despite its terrible design and lack of features, this has actually helped me to achieve what I bought it for, which was to quietly heat my daughter's bottle early each morning without waking the entire household. She wakes for a bottle between 530 and 630 each morning. I keep the warmer right next to my bed with her bottle in it and filled with… Read more

the right amount of water. At around 530am I switch the warmer onto the highest setting and wait until it heats up and then turns itself off for the first time (takes less than a minute). I then turn it back to zero, go back to sleep, and by the time she wakes her bottle is somewhere between quite warm and lukewarm. All I have to do is add the formula. I did try turning it down after it heated up, rather than turning it right off, but you end up with scalding hot water which is completely useless. Anyway it has saved me from having to get up and heat the bottle in the microwave which is quite noisy. Having said this, it is an absolutely terribly designed item and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. No temperature control, no thermostat and no timer. You could just as easily keep a thermos of hot water next to your bed and get exactly the same results.

Useless!! – We got this warmer included in a large set of closer to nature products and let me tell you it is useless. It takes forever to heat up a bottle and when you have a crying baby that just wants to be fed you don't want to be waiting 3-5 minutes. We have shoved ours in the back of a cupboard and I doubt it will see light of day again.

Not that great – I bought this second hand from a friend and have been using it since our twins were born. I was a bit disappointed on how it works, it's basically a kettle without a lid! Setting the right temperature is a bit tricky, especially if you try and follow the instructions. You kind of learn as you go what settings is best to use. The water also… Read more

constantly spilled off the sides if you are not quick enough to lower the setting to 1 or 2. Overall this warmer works ok, it does warm the bottles but you constantly need to check the bottle temperature to get it right. My husband hates it and refuses to use it! I wouldn't buy this product again, but I am not sure if there are different products on the market or if they all work the same way.

Nice Bottle Warmer – This is a nice bottle warmer but the concept is just a plain warmer. It’s simple to use just pour hot water and it's quick to warm the bottles or food. My only problem is that it leaks and not convenient for travel. The water does not seem to stay hot after a couple of minutes. I use it everyday for 2 months and now the water is leaking. It works great at first but this is not for a long time use.

Useless waste of money – Reluctantly paid $78 for this and it was rubbish. The settings 1-2 aren't hot enough and setting 3 is boiling and you have to spend ages cooling the bottle back down again! No temperature gauge or anything. Could cause a fire it's so hot! Bought a $15 warmer from aldi which was much better..

Great Bottles! – I have been through every bottle imaginable with fussy breastfed babies who refused to wean onto the bottle, The only bottle that shone through and takes the cake in my opinion out of the ranges available were the "Closer to nature by Tommee Tippee". The teat is easily cleaned, and a great shape which "tricks" baby into thinking it is the breast!… Read more

The design of the bottle is perfect to handle and comfortable to hold and they last for so long even after constant sterilising and microwaving.

I highly recommend any mother or father having a difficult time with bottle rejection or breast weaning to try this bottle, The price is a little higher then some brands but it is worth the money and you get the bang for your buck with these beauties!

I have used these for both my children and Never had a teat tear nor did I have an issue with wind thanks to the valve on the teat which assures your baby doesn't inhale air!

Great products A+++++++ Reliable, Easily cleaned and long lasting. More expensive then others.

We use it everytime to heat her bottle – We bought the Closer to Nature starter pack which included the warmer and we're very happy with the product. Just pour water into the warmer, turn the dial to 3 and the light switches off once the water is hot enough. We then switch the dial to 1 and let the bottle sit & warm. We've had absolutely no issues with the warmer, the closer to… Read more

nature bottles fit snugly & it's a small, clean design.

We probably wouldn't have bought it separately full price though, so look out for it on sale or the starter pack is a great investment for parents starting out. Small, clean design, easy to use, fits bottles in the range perfectly. Pricey if bought separately, water spills over the top if overfilled or if you "drop" the bottle in as opposed to "placing" it in.

Love this...! – I bought this hoping this would save me some time, as I have a very impatient baby boy. I don't use the microwave to heat the formula so thought I would try this out. So glad I did. It only take 2 to 3 minutes and your done. Sure you have to check it a few times but after around 5 uses, you get to know how long to leave it in there. So convenient and easy.

Has bottles hot before kettle has boiled – I dont like heating formula in the microwave so this was the next option. Very handy in the middle of the night, bub wakes, I put bottle in warmer and turn it on, get bub, and by the time i have changed her nappy, the bottle is ready to go. I find it very convenient, if bub doesnt drink a whole feed, or is just snacking, you can turn the dial… Read more

down and it will hold the temp until you need it again.

Im unsure why, but the orange light has started to flicker, and go very dull lately - but the unit itself is working A1.

The instructions were not very informative, I basically used trial and error to work it out. So that might need some improvement.

Overall though, If i had the choice of having it or not - I would certainly have it! Convenient - has bottle heated before kettle is boiled, holds at temperature between feeds, Instructions were not very informative

Expensive, useless waste of money – This product is completely useless. Sure it warms a bottle up, but if you don't catch it at JUST the right time you'll spend half your time trying to cool a boiling hot bottle down. If you do get just the right temperature and decide to use it to keep the bottle warm, it still ends up super heating your bottle. Over-priced and completely… Read more

pointless. Just use a jug with hot water in it.....

Expensive, poor instructions, doesn't perform as described
