TomTom GO 750
1 review
Terrible – Nasty customer service - very bad attitude Expired free offer left a sour taste Speech recognition close to useless Touch screen is a bit finicky and can frustrate (not the accuracy of an iphone) Only had the GPS for 2 days- deciding whether to return for refund after the "free offer" issue. Position seems to be pretty accurate with the limited use I have given it so far. Speech recognition is pretty useless.
Beware of "free offers" from Tomtom. One of the reasons I bought this model was the in store signs stating that this model came with free US maps. When I got it home though and called customer support to figure out how to get the US maps I was informed by a very nasty support person with bad attitude that the offer had expired 2 weeks ago. Now the store should have been aware of this and removed the signs, but Tomtom should also have printed the expiry of the offer on the signs and tags they provide for the display devices. So WARNING - double check any offer before purchase!
I've only had the product for a day and deciding whether to return based on the offer for free
