Is my Topfield Model TRf 2100 still useable to connect Netflix, I am unable to receive anything lately.

I got top field set box and it cuts out on blue screen and I have changed cables to and does the same I have link set to another set box to it and small set box works fine and that don't know why top field does that

My Topfield 2100 set box has malfunctioned by putting parent lock on .i never use parent lock. I live alone. Don't know password. How do i unlock it, without deleting all my recorded programs?
Just set my top field box up again after 12 months but saying not running or scrambled. Can you help please
Unable to get signal between TRF 2100 and tv screen. Has operated successfully up to now, but despite HDM3 coming up on TV screen while it is set on live TV, as soon as I switch from live TV to HDM3, the chosen input, I get a message saying no signal

How long to retrieve data after doing factory settings
I’m trying to record a programme, when I got to the bottom where it’s OK then OK the last ok won’t move. I tried to look at the recorded programmes and same thing the ok button in centre doesn’t move, I don’t know how much recorded programmes need to be deleted. The controller moves over everything else. Question is, is my tape that full it can’t move as I haven’t hardly put that particular Television on for 12 months . Have put new batteries in my controller so that’s ok
I've answered many qns on this site with these comments - the company went bust some time ago; no more online support to update it ( required to keep machine working ); so mine became useless and a waste of money ! I have bought a panasonic pvr, at least I get phone support etc when needed; they've been around for a long time, so hopefully it'll be ok. I have had to down load an update some months ago for it; fiddly as I dont have tv connected to internet. good luck !
can I get a compatible replacement remote for my TRF 2100 how much $ and where can I obtain a unit from a store not online
did you know topfield have gone belly up !? think mine still works if youre interested ?; I would need to check it first etc. I gave up on the unit because of complete lack of updates available due to company bust up. I'm surprised yours still works. regards
Thanks Gerry for your response. I didn't know Topfield had gone belly up, but it doesn't surprise me. It's only the remote that has failed everything else works ok. I'd be interested to know if your remote is functioning and if it in fact would work with my unit ?? I suppose it should without having to programming it My email address is r.snowden@bigpond.com

you can get them a remote cost about $38 on ebay i ordered one it came back in 4 day and works very good ,i have had my topfield for about 6 years and no trouble just the remote would not rewind Thanks
Is the Topfield TRF-2400 compatible with the Linsar HD TV Model:LS32CHD please? Also, my Topfield TRF-2400 will only show the time, and not a TV station any more. Is it burnt out please?
no idea; but the company has gone bust some time ago; units now useless as no updates available !! I learnt the hard way - dont buy a brand ! dont recognise !! and JB Hifi who sold it, were no help either !!
Hi, I have a Topfield TRF2200 PVR. It will not record. I get the error message Limit:CAN not record. I only have 3 things programmed to record. I have loads of space in storage and when I try to research the error message I can't get any information. Any help would be apprecited
I have a trf-2100 recorder and every channel now has child lock on and requires a pin I have never used “child lock” so tried 0000 but that hasn’t worked please tell me how to watch my tv ! Jeanie
I stopped using mine some time ago - no support from company; they went bust with no concern for customers and stopped supplying online updates !! now have panasonic - fiddly and complicated to use, downloading updates is also annoying ! why cant the thing just work = a simple process?

no idea! ; mine has died/wont perform properly, just finshing programs on it; company no longer supports it, they went bust; no help to us! I bought a panasonic, more exp, more confusing to operate, less options etc ! frustrated !
I don't know exactly, but sometimes a default of 0000 gets into things.
7 March 2019 . When I press the EPG button there is no programme information displayed. This has only happened in the last week. I can still record using the reservation button.
Its probably died ! company no longer supports it, mine is now junk ! gradually watching the programs still recorded. bought an expensive panasonic - see my review; it has less functions and is harder to navigate than the cheap topfield - go figure !! good luck !
I've set up my Topfield, can record, but for the life of me I can't find what I've recorded, and have no idea how to get it to replay. I've hit the right button on the remote, but nothing. Anyone have any ideas? Actually is there anyone who really replies, on here?

Thanks for that. I'm very tempted to buy a Panasonic, even though they're very expensive, but at least I know how to use that one.
