Have "selected" 10 files but won't delete multiple files. Prompt says "Cannot delete in playing"
My top field 7160 was working perfectly yesterday but this morning it's only showing 2 recordings done overnight. The rest of the recordings aren't there but must be on the drive because there is only 30gbs left available. How do I get the other files to show up in recordings again so I can access them. Peter

Do you have a manual? If not, download in from the Internet. Also, sorry, I don't understand your question, what do you mean 'recording missing from the menu?

my TRF7160 has been good for many years but now it will not select recorded programs.It will select epg and recording set up functions and it appears that all of the recorded programs are gone.Can it be reprogamed or repaired.

Have you tried deleting any recordings to free up space on the hard drive? You can also transfer shows that you would like to keep, over to a usb thumb drive or external hard drive

I had a similar problem in the past with Channel 10, and found out, it was my TV aerial, that got damaged by birds. Once replaced, the strength of the signal returned.
Thanks, but don’t think it can be that as if I sit and watch the Channel it is OK, but it just won’t record, OK on all other Channels. Can anyone else help.
My remote is not working? The PVR light comes on when buttons are pressed, but doesn't seem to be connected to the PVR? Do I need a new remote?
1. Check the battery 2. Dust accumulates inside the remote, open it up and clean inside. 3. The plastic parts get worn out and you need a new remote, very easy to buy online.

Our Topfield TRF 7160 has just developed the same fault described by someone on this site four years ago and it looks like they’re still awaiting an answer - so I’m not hopeful. The issue is the HDD has “LOADING” displayed permanently, except for the periodic flash of code - L33021. Is there a solution?

Why has my Topfield TRF.7160 stopped turning itself off after all programmes have been recorded as set. This means we cant leave it to record for a week or so of holidays in case it burns itself out or whatever. thanks.
