Great overall, shame about low volume control – Purchased this after our LG died. was a bit sceptical at first, but now couldn't live without a voice activated remote. Shame smart function does not allow ABC TV to be installed, but at least you get Netflix and you tube My only gripe is that the speakers are too loud, even at their lowest setting Show details
excellent picture – We are very plased with the picture quality, built in speakers, It has plenty of port holes to use, We like that it is a smart TV, because we can attach a cable for the computer and also look at youtube videos on our broadband system. We are very happy we purchased this product and the way that it functions is very pleasing. Show details
Nice screen – Great quality of picture , it also has good speaks which are built in and doesn't really need surround sound, but it does sound better with surround sound. it has enough plug in and out puts so we can plug in computers and run it from other devices, great buy Show details
I love the TV – It is a tv with HD so the pictures are very clear. It is not a smart tv but we've already had a tv box so it doesn't matter. We can still use it as a smart tv. It is my dream tv and we put it in the living room. Show details

Nice little tv – Bought on sale for mid 300 dollar mark a few year's ago. For what I paid I am very happy. The sound quality is average, the screen clear and quite good quality. Pretty user friendly to set up and to say I am not a tech savvy person is a bit of an understatement.
Good but sound lets it down – Purchased from Harvey Norman in May 2011 for $897 I'm happy overall quality of the picture of the TV but am extremely disappointed with the sound which is absolutely terrible! The speakers are at the bottom of the TV and the are tinny and have no substance at all to the extent that I've set up external speakers. Set up - easy to set up. Just… Read more
plug and play
Remote - easy to use
Ports - there's a number of different ports for HDMI etc. I use with PS3 and have had no issues
In summary there's so much other choice that I wouldn't buy this just because of the sound. It's a pity because the picture itself is ok. This issue may be limited to this model but something to be aware of before you buy a Toshiba.
Great LCD tv for the price – Paid $700 for our first LCD tv. The pictures are very clear and great colour but the sound is very tinny - cheap. We saved up and got a decent amplifier system and the sound is remarkably better. Definitely consider getting an amp or DVD/ system with good speakers to improve the overall home theatre experience. We bought a Samsung amp. Good for price Sound is of poor quality without help but great with a decent amp.
Nice TV poor sound – It was a very well priced TV being 100hz (on special) at the price point of many 50hz TVs Easy to set up with a nice picture but the sound is awful; sounding muffled, tinny and distant, if you are serious about audio you will need to plug it into a sound system Out of the box the picture seems to be a bit on the red side It was cheap and has a nice picture The speakers are awful
OK – Good picture for a TV in this class and has a good remote control. However it is not suitable for those requiring built in audio. Very good picture for a TV in this class. Good picture controls via the Picture Menu, including RGB colour management. Well laid out remote control with good sized buttons. Built in audio is very poor quality with a… Read more
muffled, boxy sound which impairs the clarity of speech. Audio through headphones is very good but the headphone socket was found to have a poor connection with some plugs that work well in other equipment.
