Toshiba RV550A Series

Good LCD TV – I Bought my Toshiba LCD TV (40CV55A) new in Sydney at the end of 2009 being impressed by the reviews of the time.Its been a great TV for general use and hasn't missed a beat so far.Just one disappointment has been the constant poor quality of the speakers and sound quality with vibration and distortion forcing me many times to manually adjust the sound and try and reduce the distortion.Its a real shame as I probably would not buy another Toshiba TV because of the sound issue. Picture Quality and General use. Poor Quality Speakers.

Value for money – Exceptional energy performance - 4.5 stars. Easy set up. Crisp images and excellent contrast. Reasonably priced and while still offering decent image quality. Plenty of connection options including two HDMI ports, one Component and two composite connections. Very energy efficient, Simple to use Poor speaker quality, intense backlights

Good – Bought the TV for the bedroom and wanted something with decent size, nice features and value for money. Toshiba ticked all the points and is known for making good LCD panels. The remote control lags a little bit (maybe this is problem with LCD tvs in general). Whilst probably not suitable for home entertainment TV, it makes a more than capable bedroom TV! Also comes with automatic 2 year warranty for peace of mind. Good value for Full HD TV, nice picture quality, good EPG Maybe more contrast ratio, like a lot of 50hz TVs it suffers from fast moving sports action
