How do you unsubscribe from Total Adblock?

Ronald T.

They said I would get a credit but haven't seen it yet I wouldn't subscribe to it if I were you

If I could remember I would tell you. The website has a different look now I'm unsubscribed. I agree with Ronald T., particularly if Chrome isn't your main browser - don't subscribe.

Beats me! Saw ad on YouTube and thought for $1.99 I would give it a try. Very disappointed it did nothing of what it promised.

Why has my adblock stopped working when I only purchased it in february 2023?

Bart
Bart

Hi Kevin it’s a scam masquerading as as an anti- virus . It doesn’t do what the promoters say it does. If you live in Australia you will see almost universal condemnation of it

What Bart said and absolute scam and rubbish product

Make sure you cancel your subscription - you are sure to have one

And keep an eye on the account you used to pay for it, look out for unauthorised debits

3 seperate payments were taken from my account on 16th May. All to adblok. I want a refund please.

This is a review site.

If Adblock won't refund you ask the company that made the payment for you e.g. Paypal or your credit card company.

I hope you succeed

How can I get rid of it? If I install it, I find it is always there covering what I want to read. IF I don't, it is there telling me how wonderful it will be not to see the ads that it sits on. It is soooo annoying.

On my phone you just hold your finger on the app icon on your screen and 3 options pop up: Select, Remove and Uninstall - tap uninstall and follow the instructions.

It worked for me.

I got out early, so my guess is, every browser you enabled with the app, incurs an additional fee!?.

How do credit card companies continue to pay these Total Adblock crooks. When they get these type of people all saying the same thing. Don’t use TotalAdblock. This is a scam.

I wish I was advised that $119 was going out of my credit card. I would have said definitely no. I couldn’t even remember the name of the company as it never worked so I just deleted it, probably over a year ago. Now 12 months later they rip money out of my account. Terrible. They might even do it again next year. I’ll have to close this credit card that I’ve had for 25 years. And to make it worse, I’m an aged pensioner.

Exactly the same problem here! Do we need a class action to put them out of business? Microsoft is a disgrace for accepting advertising from scammers.

How can I cancel my AddBlock subscription?

glenoak
glenoak

Log in to your AdBlock account and go to settings, or my account , one of those, there is somewhere on there that you can cancel your subscription. Try the FAQ's. Cannot remember exactly, or go to Paypal (if you paid via Paypal) and go to recurring billing and stop it from there.

I have had a sum of money taken from my bank account and need to know if this is an annual fee. I am a pensioner and I would like my money back as the ads don't really annoy that much - how can I get a refund

Simon T.
Simon T.

It is theft by deception, I had the same problem recently and went through PayPal for a refund.

charles t.
charles t.

Hi Marilyn I agree with Simon, this is theft by deception. However, we rarely see this type of malpractice stamped out. You will probably not get a refund since scammers like this are unlikely to give you back their ill-gotten gains. To make sure this company does not steal from you again, cancel your account with them and delete your PayPal account so they have no path to take your money.

Is Total add blocker safe and is it free

Steve
Steve

Up until I uninstalled it, it seemed to be safe and did what it said it was supposed to do however it is not free despite what the ad says. It is $2.99 for the first months' trial and then $10.99 each month there after. It also drained my phone's battery quite fast and I found I had to turn it on almost each time I browsed the internet. I am now with uBlock Origin which IS free to use.
